Kaitlyn Bristowe apparently had a tough, emotional week of rehearsals in preparation for Dancing with the Stars' upcoming semifinals.

The Bachelorette's Season 11 star took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to provide fans with documentary-style footage of Dancing with the Stars behind the scenes, and she dubbed the video "A Day in the life."

Kaitlyn gave her followers a glimpse into Dancing with the Stars' wardrobe room and backstage area. She was all smiles and giggles with the show's crew in the ballroom until the video shifted to a different mood about two hours later, when Kaitlyn suddenly appeared flushed and teary-eyed.

"Now's the part where I cry into my salad," Kaitlyn told the camera with a half-hearted laugh.

"It's so funny. It's actually a memory I have of being on The Bachelorette and crying into my salad, not wanting to do it anymore. And here I am, but I do wanna do it. So this is not the same."

Kaitlyn explained, "You want rehearsals to go a certain way and when they don't I just get so disappointed in myself."

"You work so hard to get to this point and then you watch it back and you're like, 'I'm better than that,'" she added.

As Kaitlyn spoke, she wrote over the video, "I'm gonna give it my all tomorrow. This is the time to friggen step it up."

The Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast host then continued, "This is hard -- this is a hard journey. But I told you I was taking you on the journey of the day and here we are, crying into salads."

But Kaitlyn eventually returned home to a nice foot bath her boyfriend and The Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick had set up for her, along with a glass of red wine. One of Kaitlyn's Golden Retrievers also sweetly stayed by her soaking feet.

"I am told that everything's gonna be okay," Kaitlyn concluded.

"It is," Jason could be heard assuring his girlfriend in the background.

Kaitlyn is one of six remaining Dancing with the Stars celebrities heading into Monday night's performance show.

Kaitlyn and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev will be taking the stage with "a very emotional dance," according to the reality TV star.

Kaitlyn and Artem's dance will be dedicated to Kaitlyn's childhood friend who passed away when she was only 18 years old, according to Us Weekly.

Kaitlyn recently said on social media she's never "shared this story" on TV because she never wanted the tragic incident to be "used" for publicity or to gain attention or sympathy.

"It was just something that I held kinda close to my heart," Kaitlyn reportedly said.

"But, hearing the song every day, telling a story, putting me back in those times and talking about her has just got me so emotional... At the beginning, it made me not want to get close to anybody, but now it just makes me love my friends so much."

Kaitlyn and Artem are entering the semifinals on a high given they received a perfect score from the Dancing with the Stars judges last week on "Icons Night" for their Britney Spears-inspired Argentine tango.

DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli complimented Kaitlyn on "a star performance," and Carrie Ann Inaba gave Kaitlyn and Artem a standing ovation after being admittedly tough on the pair in previous weeks. (Artem told Entertainment Tonight he found Carrie Ann's prior criticism "discouraging" and "a little personal.")

Carrie Ann noted Kaitlyn had finally reached her "ultimate" in the competition, and she gushed, "Everything we've been wanting from you was in this routine!"
