Farrah Abraham quits 'Teen Mom OG' to continue adult film career after blowout fight with producer on latest episode

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 03/13/2018

Farrah Abraham and Teen Mom OG producer Morgan J. Freeman got into a heated conversation during Monday night's episode in which the reality TV star's future with the show was called into question.

Morgan and another producer, Jordan, traveled to Farrah's house to discuss her treatment of the crew as well as her resumed participation in the adult entertainment industry during the broadcast.

"We want to look at how people are treated. For example, Kristin -- who we all love, who we think is doing a great job -- isn't here today. You don't snap your fingers and say 'new producer' and we fly one in. I think [we need] some compassion and understanding. Everybody is working," Morgan explained to Farrah, according to Us Weekly.

"I am so compassionate. I am so understanding, I am working my ass of just like everyone," Farrah interrupted.

"I respect a lot of people who respect me," she noted. "I mean, you're doing other Teen Moms; she can just go bounce around and annoy the sh-t out of everybody else... There are a lot of people out there who need production jobs. It's not that challenging."

"All the work that goes into making you happy with the crew has bubbled up that we have to figure out how to move forward," Morgan said, later adding, "Out of nine moms, you're the only one that's a problem."

Farrah took offense to Morgan's statement and then fired away at the producer.

"I'm sorry, f-ck. Shoot me for being who I am!" Farrah yelled.

"Right -- difficult," Morgan pointed out.

"I'm not difficult," Farrah insisted.

Once that part of the conversation wrapped, Morgan reportedly brought up Farrah's porn-star career.

After Teen Mom ended in late 2012, Farrah filmed a sex tape with co-star James Deen called Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, which was released by Vivid in May 2013 as part of a reported near-million dollar deal. The video's sequel followed in early 2014.

Farrah also released her own line of sex toys that year, but from that point forward, her participation as an actress in the adult film industry remained fairly quiet.

Teen Mom was then revived on MTV in early 2015 and began airing under a new name, Teen Mom OG, with "OG" standing for "original girls."

"You had said you weren't going to continue to do the adult videos, that you had decided not to go down that path," Morgan told Farrah on last night's episode.

But in October 2017, TMZ reported that MTV let Farrah go because she had participated in a highly-promoted, live pornographic webcam show. Farrah claimed at the time she was a victim of a hate crime and had been sex-shamed.

"Nobody's here to cast judgement on anything, but if you chose to work in the adult industry, we can't continue to film your story for Teen Mom. This was a conversation that happened above me, without me, and has been given to me to come bring to you," Morgan explained to Farrah on Teen Mom OG.

"It's basically a decision where we're asking you. You have had this critical role from 16 & Pregnant all the way to this. No one's saying that you can't do this. It's just that if you're going to go down that path, we can't keep shooting this path."

Farrah then blew up at Morgan, according to Us, saying, "Who are you to tell someone to chose one thing? I don't have to choose anything."

Farrah reported called producers later to inform them of her decision.

"Honestly, webcams or adult entertainment or healthy sex lives or safe sex or all these things -- all that stuff is more beneficial and I will always continue to do that, regardless if it's my own show, not on MTV anymore. There are so many paths for me in my life. Hell, I'm only 26," Farrah allegedly said.

Morgan reportedly told Farrah to do whatever is best for her family, and then she replied, "Well then I will just have my lawyers contact you guys and I wish you guys all the best."

Because of the way things went down, there have been conflicting reports over whether MTV fired Farrah from Teen Mom OG or she opted to quit because of the predicament they had put her in.

Variety reported in late February that Farrah filed a $5 million lawsuit against Morgan and Viacom, along with Eleventh Street Productions and Anxious Eleven. She reportedly accused the parties of harassment and wrongful termination in a complaint filed in federal court in Texas.

Farrah is currently no longer a part of Teen Mom OG, and she did not attend the reunion taping earlier this month.

Teen Mom OG currently airs on Monday nights at 9PM ET/PT on MTV.
