CBS has announced that The Cut, the network's The Apprentice-like reality series that features fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger starring in the Donald Trump role, will move to Fridays at 9PM ET/PT beginning Friday, August 5.

Although heavily promoted by the network, The Cut has been a summer ratings disappointment for the network.
The Cut had originally debuted in Survivor's Thursdays at 8PM time period on June 9 but was later moved (in a pre-planned schedule change) to Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT once Big Brother 6 premiered on Thursday, July 7.
From its inception, The Cut failed to generate much interest with viewers, with its special 90-minute June 9 premiere averaging only 6.59 million viewers and a 4.9/9 household rating/share during its 8:00-9:30PM ET/PT debut.
Unfortunately for CBS, The Cut's numbers have only gone down from there, with its most recent Wednesday, July 27 episode drawing only 3.8 million overall viewers.
