Brendan accompanied Tayshia on her first one-on-one date of the season, and he quickly became smitten with her. In turn, Tayshia called Brendan "everything" and said kissing him felt like she was kissing "my person."

"I feel really connected to him... I don't think I've felt this way ever," Tayshia gushed on the show.

But when Brendan participated in a lie-detector test on a group date and was asked some tough questions about his blossoming relationship with Tayshia, his results came back inconclusive, which suggested he wasn't entirely ready to introduce Tayshia to his family or to meet her family.

Brendan also expressed some hesitancy when asked whether he'd be ready to propose marriage by the end of the The Bachelorette process.

Brendan, however, assured the cameras, "Tayshia is a really unique woman, for sure. She is sweet and genuine, and I do feel Tayshia and I have a real connection."

Is Tayshia and Brendan's "real connection" enough for them to end up together and potentially get engaged, or will Brendan come down with a case of cold feet?
