The Bachelor bachelorettes who will be competing for Matt James' heart on Season 25 have formally been announced by ABC.

The network has officially announced the cast of 32 women who will vie for Matt's final rose when Season 25 of The Bachelor premieres Monday, January 4 at 8PM ET/PT.

In early October, ABC announced an initial cast of 43 diverse bachelorettes who "may" have had the chance to meet and date Matt when The Bachelor season began filming just days later.

A bunch of extra potential bachelorettes were invited to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania, where Season 25 of The Bachelor filmed, in case anyone tested positive for coronavirus during the pre-production quarantine period.

ABC went about things in a similar way when 42 bachelors were initially announced for Clare Crawley's The Bachelorette season in July but then only 31 bachelors made her official Season 16 cast.

Matt's group of The Bachelor bachelorettes includes two attorneys, two journalists, a pharmacist, a professional ballerina, a runway model, a photographer, and a self-crowned "queen" drawn from cities and towns all around America -- giving him a diverse group of women to choose from.

In the season premiere, Matt will meet his pool of The Bachelor bachelorettes and enjoy the season's initial cocktail reception with them.

At the end of the night, only 24 lucky bachelorettes will remain to toast The Bachelor star.

Let's learn more about Matt's impressive group of suitors who will be competing to win his heart and hopefully become his future wife.
