Holly's one nomination for eviction this week was Nick. But thanks to the "America's Prankster" twist, Nick was voted to be the Prankster and so he secretly decided to put Christie Murphy on the chopping block next to him.

Big Brother 21 - Episode 27

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 65, with Jackson Michie explaining he had decided to keep Christie around because she could help his game going forward. Holly had also won Head of Household, but she was afraid how "Prank Week" was going to affect her reign.

No one knew what the Prankster's perks were going to be, but Nick hoped it would mean he can't be placed on the chopping block.

Meanwhile, Christie was "freaking out" about the fact she was able to stay in the house. While she was elated, she felt really guilty about having a hand in the eviction of her best friend in the house, Analyse Talavera's eviction.

Christie revealed she had cut "a few deals" in order to stick around. Footage then flashed back to Christie telling Cliff Hogg 28 hours before the live eviction that she had to convince Michie and Holly that Nick would be her first target.

Cliff told Christie that he'd vote for her to stay as long as she promised not to put him up the next week.

Christie had told Michie and Holly she would "honorably" take fourth or fifth place but someone needed "to combat" Nick and it wasn't going to be Tommy Bracco or Nicole Anthony. Christie had insisted she wanted to make moves and play.

Michie had admitted to Christie her gameplay was a threat to him but they could work together as long as she swore not to go against him.

"I'm a pawn. Here I am, use me!" Christie had told Michie, who then began viewing her as an asset rather than a threat or a liability. "She has a lot more to offer than Sis does, so I want to keep Christie."

With 20 hours to go until the live eviction, Cliff asked Christie not to target Nicole either if she happened to stay in the house and win the next HoH competition. Cliff had told Christie that he wanted her to stay but he wanted to protect Nicole also.

Michie was then shown telling Cliff and Nicole that he'd have their backs if they'd be willing to lock in a plan with him. Nicole wanted to work with Michie and Holly going forward, so they listened to what he wanted to do.

Going back to Day 65 following Analyse's eviction, Michie told Holly that it might make sense to nominate Nick and Christie for eviction, with Nick being their main target.

Michie also suggested Holly could nominate Jessica Milagros as a replacement nominee. The pair just feared what pranks were to come, and Michie said he had a feeling the pranks on her HoH would be to his own detriment.

Holly, however, said she couldn't even imagine Michie going home on her HoH reign.

Holly, Michie, Cliff and Nicole had seemed to establish a Final 4 alliance, and so Holly asked Christie if she'd be willing to go on the chopping block as a pawn.

Christie was surprised and said Holly wasn't proving she wanted to work together until the end of the game, but Holly assured her that Nick would be going home if the two of them were on the block together.

Christie was nervous and chose to have trust, but her reaction made Holly wonder if she had made a mistake. Holly worried about having a bloody run as HoH.

"We hustled and finessed you staying here. She needs a reality check," Holly told Michie of Christie.

Michie was frustrated, saying Christie needed to keep her word because he had gone out on a limb to save her.

Michie then suggested to Holly that they could backdoor Nick and put Jessica on the block with Christie instead. Holly wasn't against the idea of Christie going home as a backup option since Christie wasn't really cooperating and didn't seem grateful to her.

The houseguests were later gathered into the living room in the middle of the night and learned "America's Prankster" -- who was determined by America's votes -- would secretly nominate one person for eviction at the next Nomination Ceremony, leaving the Holly with only one nomination selection as the HoH.

In addition, the houseguests discovered the Prankster would be able to name the replacement nominee at the Veto Meeting if his or her initial nomination comes down off the chopping block.

Holly therefore decided to handle Christie with care to keep her happy, and the girls wondered if America loved Nick and would vote for him to be the Prankster in order to keep him safe.

Nick then gave Holly his word that he'd use the Veto to save a person whom she wanted in the house as long as Holly didn't put him on the block initially. Nick promised Holly that he'd save Michie, for example.

Holly didn't know what to do because there were so many unknowns, but she did have a feeling the Prankster would nominate Michie in order to mess with her HoH reign. She therefore considered Nick's offer even though Nick was a huge target at this point.

Nick later learned he had been voted to be "America's Prankster," and he was so excited, grateful and thankful. Nick said America must have felt Christie blowing up his game and painting a huge target on his back was uncalled for.

Nick knew he could still be put on the block, but this opportunity gave him "new life" in the game.

Nick decided to keep his power a secret from the rest of the house, but Nicole was suspicious because he seemed to know what was going on. Holly and Michie also guessed Nick would be the Prankster.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Holly called herself a straight-shooter and said she had decided to nominate Nick for eviction because he was a huge threat. She commended Nick, however, on his great gameplay.

The Prankster's secret nomination of Christie was then revealed at the ceremony, and Holly was fine with that.

Nick said in the Diary Room he had decided to nominate Christie because he had the best chance of staying while sitting next to her on the block. Christie felt the prank was on her, and she hated the idea of not making her family, friends and America proud.
