Although Ben seemed to hit it off with Clare Crawley on Night 1 of The Bachelorette, he seemed thrilled when Tayshia took over for Clare on the show after Clare got engaged to Dale Moss only two weeks into filming.

At first sight, Ben called Tayshia "beautiful" and said producers couldn't have picked a better leading lady. And once he got to talk to Tayshia and learn more about her, he called her "captivating."

Ben also asked Tayshia to dance with him during their alone time, and the Bachelorette seems impressed with him so far on Season 16.

However, fans haven't seen much of Ben in recent episodes, and that is expected to change.

Until The Bachelorette viewers can watch Ben and Tayshia's romance unfold, let's learn more about The Bachelorette suitor right now.

Below is a list of five facts Reality TV World has compiled about Ben Smith.

Ben is a coach on a subscription service called Bodybuilding Club, which members can join for $49 per month. The program includes strength, hypertrophy and conditioning work.

Ben made a major career shift after his military service

The Bachelorette bachelor graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point followed by The United States Army Ranger School.
