Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? starring Ben Higgins and his fiancee Lauren Bushnell had a very happy ending.

During Tuesday night's finale of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? on Freeform, Ben and Lauren embarked on separate bachelor and bachelorette parties in Las Vegas; however, the couple had yet to inform their friends the wedding had previously been called off.

The only people aware of the status of Ben and Lauren's relationship were The Bachelor twins Emily Ferguson and Haley Ferguson, who had learned of the news while participating in a relationship-counseling session with the engaged couple.

"Part of me wonders if [Ben] called the wedding off because I'm not good enough or he can't see a life with me, and also, part of me wonders if he's going to end things completely," Lauren admitted during the broadcast.

While Lauren and her girls -- including The Bachelor favorites Amanda Stanton and Ashley Iaconetti -- got their nails done and enjoyed a pool party, Ben and his boys -- which included The Bachelorette's Tanner Tolbert, JJ Lane and Jared Haibon -- went golfing and whiskey tasting.

Both Lauren and Ben waited for the opportune time to reveal their wedding was no longer happening. They finally explained how their relationship has been a roller coaster and whirlwind ever since getting engaged on The Bachelor's Season 20 finale, which aired in March, and they needed more time to get to know one another.

The friends were understanding and supportive, however, Tanner pointed out to the cameras he had married Bachelor in Paradise's Jade Roper after only seven months of dating and he never experienced doubts or a need to push back on the wedding. Tanner therefore questioned if Lauren and Ben were really meant to be.

But a big surprise appeared to change everything. Clips of Ben and Lauren's journey together played in a video on the MGM Grand Marquee outside for all to see. Ben seemed mesmerized watching his love story unfold with Lauren, as she stood nearby gleefully watching with her girlfriends.

"How in the world have we gotten here? And how am I so lucky?" Ben said to the cameras after the montage concluded.

Ben then called Lauren on the phone and asked her to meet him at the Skyfall Lounge. It became clear Ben was having regrets about canceling their TV wedding. His doubts about being ready to take that next step in life had upset and blindsided Lauren, who was already picking out bridal-shower registry items and bridesmaid dresses.

"She loves me; she knows who I am. I would be crazy not to jump at the opportunity to marry Lauren," Ben admitted in a confessional.

Ben then acknowledged to Lauren that the last couple of weeks had been hard and tiring for them.

"But through it all, I want you to know that I never thought I could live a day without you in my sight. Lauren, I want to be your husband. You're going to be Mrs. Higgins," Ben told his fiancee with a big smile on his face.

Lauren then asked, "Does this mean the wedding is back on?"

"Of course it is," Ben replied. "You're my person and you always will be."

Lauren wrapped up the season by telling the cameras her romance with Ben has been hard but fun at the same time, and she can't wait to start a life with him.

"I think we'll live happily ever after," Lauren told Ben.

"I know we'll live happily ever after," Ben assured his love.
