STEVEN AND ALINA

Since Alina expected to marry sooner than Steven had been anticipating in Turkey, Steven asked Alina to participate in a couples' skill-building exercise after they moved into a bigger apartment together.

Alina said it was "painful" to know Steven wasn't ready to wed her yet, and she wondered if Steven truly loved her and was committed to her.

Steven and Alina discussed their strengths and weaknesses in the relationship, and they both agreed a strength was how they had been willing to sacrifice so much for one another.

Alina, however, expressed her concern over Steven spending a lot of time with his female friends, some of whom he had dated before. Steven had told Alina that he valued his friendship with these women and she was clearly projecting an insecurity.

Alina recalled how Steven had asked her for permission to go on dates with other women when they had been dating for a couple of weeks, and Steven said he wasn't ready to be in an exclusive relationship at the time.

Although Alina said she didn't like the idea of Steven dating anyone else, Steven admitted he had hung out with girlfriends one-on-one, "like a date."

"For two months, when Alina and I were dating long-distance, I continued going on dates with other girls," Steven told the cameras.

"But about a month ago when I found out we'd be able to move to Turkey together, I stopped going on dates. Dating those women helped me realize that it's definitely Alina I want to be with, but I'm not ready to get married yet."

Alina was very upset to learn Steven had gone on dates with other women during their relationship, and Steven apologized for hurting her.

"It's a huge betrayal," Alina said in a confessional.

"This is the thing that makes me doubt our relationship, because I don't trust him to be honest with me. And I feel he has more secrets that he hides from me. I'm afraid my friend Masha will confirm my fears."

Steven told Alina that she should trust him because he had given up his whole life to be with her and she's "more important" to him "than anything."

Alina later followed up with her pretty Russian friend Masha, who had sneakily messaged Steven on Instagram -- at Alina's request -- to test his loyalty and faithfulness to his relationship and future with Alina.

Masha said it was "a red flag" that Steven had lied to Alina about going on dates with other women.

Masha then revealed to Alina that Steven had answered her Instagram message with "hey," a smiley emoticon, and the following message, "They say we have the best snow in the entire world. Better to come in the winter?"

Masha thought that sounded like an invitation from Steven to have Masha visit him in the United States, even though he didn't know her at all.

"I was hoping to find out that Steven didn't reply or at least just said that he has a girlfriend," Alina explained. "But he invited her to go to America. I am like, 'What is he doing?'"

Alina said Steven's politeness worried her and she wondered how many women he had spoken to on social media before and after they met online. Alina wasn't sure she was ready to marry Steven after hearing this news, and she intended on questioning him.

Masha advised Alina to stand her ground, have a tough conversation with Steven and demand a ring on her finger.

"I don't think I know who is the real Steven anymore," Alina lamented.

Alina asked Masha to continue writing to Steven by answering with a sweet message. She wanted Steven to get excited about the attention, and explained, "Based on what will happen, I'll make a decision to stay or end it all."

Alina said she wasn't ready to confront Steven about the social-media message just yet, and she wanted to test him more and figure out if she could trust him once and for all.

Alina, however, asked Steven more about the dates he had embarked on with friends. Steven confessed to kissing some of the girls when he was dating Alina, and she said she felt "furious and hurt" and didn't know what to do.

Steven said he was scared about giving everything up for Alina and so that's the way he dealt with that fear. Steven said he didn't kiss most of the women, but that didn't make Alina feel any better.

Steven acknowledged his words to Alina didn't match his actions and genuine level of commitment at the time.

Alina asked Steven to stop communicating with his female friends, but Steven said even Jesus had female friends and he could be completely faithful to Alina while maintaining those friendships.

Alina therefore suggested Steven should delete his social media, which would make her feel more comfortable.

"I am willing to submit to you. I will delete my social media," Steven replied.

Alina still had her doubts, but Steven was showing that he was willing to make changes. She was also happy about the fact he wouldn't be able to reply to Masha again.

"I need to tell Alina that there was more than just kissing and since we had met each other, I had some sexual relationships with some of those girls with whom I had gone on dates," Steven said.

"If we're going to get married, she needs to know... but it's only going to get worse when I tell her what I need to tell her."

Alina later asked Steven to go wine tasting when he doesn't drink alcohol or do drugs as a Mormon. She suggested they could taste and spit out the wine, but he was still surprised and taken aback.

Steven said it was okay to do this activity for cultural fun as long as they didn't swallow the wine. Alina began following the rules of the Mormon church since she planned to be baptized, but she apparently missed drinking wine with her friends.

The date was a little bit awkward, but Steven thanked Alina for pushing him out of his comfort zone. He thought the week had been challenging for them but also successful.

"Something else I wanted to kind of confess -- I haven't been 100 percent open and candid with you about my past," Steven told Alina during the wine tasting, trying to squash the secrets that kept them apart.

Steven came clean and continued, "Something I want to tell you is I am not a virgin. I have had sexual relations. I'm telling you this because I love you and I want to make sure you know everything about me before we get married."

"So many words," Alina replied in disbelief.

ARIELA AND BINIYAM

Ariela and Biniyam took their son Avi to a pediatrician in Ethiopia because they had noticed a bulge in Avi's groin area whenever he cried and whined.

The pediatrician revealed Avi had a hernia at nine months and would need surgery as soon as possible to avoid further complications involving the baby's intestine.

Ariela wished she could wait until Avi was older to have a major surgery, so she immediately became worried and nervous.

The pediatrician revealed how the surgery is common, but Ariela seemed mainly concerned about Avi undergoing anesthesia at such a young age.

Ariela looked forward to talking to her mother who works in medicine, and she told Biniyam, "I think it's a possibility we may have to take him to the U.S."

Biniyam said he didn't want his son to travel to America for "a small thing," but Ariela argued a surgery is not a small thing.

Biniyam was frustrated Ariela didn't seem to trust the doctors in his native country, but Ariela said her insurance would pay for the surgery in the U.S. and her parents would be around to watch Avi and take care of him.

"I'm trying not to freak out, but I need a little time to process it," Ariela snapped at her husband.

Ariela knew Biniyam wouldn't like her traveling to the U.S. with Avi since he couldn't join them due to the U.S. Embassy being closed amid the coronavirus pandemic. She said Biniyam was "traumatized" when his first wife and son left him to go to the U.S. and never returned.

"As much as I want to do what's best for Bini, ultimately I know I have to do what's best for Avi. If that means going to America, then that's what I'm going to do," Ariela told the cameras.

After talking to her parents, Ariela made a decision about Avi's surgery, and she was afraid to break the news to Biniyam.

Ariela said since Avi's surgery was necessary, urgent, and covered by her insurance in the United States, she decided to take Avi to America for the surgery. Ariela explained how the surgery would be cheaper this way, and Biniyam started to cry.

"I don't want to leave you. I'm not trying to leave you. I am sad about this and I'm sorry but I have to do it and it's really important. I don't want you to hate me but I'm really worried about it," Ariela cried to her husband.

Biniyam said Ariela probably broke this news to him while he was in a barber shop so he couldn't shout and flip out. Biniyam told Ariela that he didn't want to lose his baby and lose his family.

"My ex-wife went on a trip. She cried and convinced me like this. She took my child and didn't come back. For Ari to repeat this, this is a difficult thing for me," Biniyam said.

Biniyam begged Ariela not to go, insisting he would find her a special doctor and do anything it takes. But Ariela revealed how she had already purchased her plane ticket.

Biniyam feared Ariela would return to her ex-husband Leandro and never come back, and he was "so angry" she had bought a ticket without telling him first. Biniyam asked Ariela for some time because he wasn't sure he'd be able to control his reaction.

Biniyam got down on his knees in the middle of a busy street and pleaded with Ariela not to leave him, but she asked him to think about what's best for their son.

The couple later Zoomed with Ariela's mother Janice to talk about the situation further. Janice assured Biniyam that she'd take care of Avi and he'd always be a part of his son's life.

Ariela told Biniyam that she had nothing to go home to other than her family because she had given everything up for him. Janice, however, made Biniyam feel better that everything was going to be okay.

"Please come back if you go," Biniyam told his wife, although he wasn't happy about the situation at all.

Ariela determined a trip to America was best for their son, and so her plan was apparently set in stone.

But before she left, Ariela had to break the news to Biniyam's sisters about her trip. Ariela shared the news during a spa day with the women.

Ariela promised that she'd return to Ethiopia and would never hurt Biniyam in the way his ex-wife had. The girls worried Ariela was going to take Avi away from their family, and Ariela hoped the women could start fresh and fix their relationship once she came back to Ethiopia.

"I don't want to take Avi forever. When I come back, you'll see," Ariela insisted.

KENNY AND ARMANDO

Kenny asked Armando how his sit-down conversation with his father Armando Sr. went, and Armando shared how it was a good chat overall in which his father had expressed his love and how Armando Jr. would always be his son.

"He supports us basically and is fine with everything. And then I did tell him about us being engaged and that we had a wedding planned, and that's where he seemed to hesitate a little bit," Armando shared.

Armando said his father wouldn't commit to attending the wedding and it "shocked" him a little bit that his father needed time to think it over since things had been going so well.

Given it took 20 years for Armando to accept himself and come out as an openly-gay man, he said he understood how his parents needed time to embrace the news and fully accept his new life.

Kenny didn't seem pleased about Armando Sr.'s reaction, telling the cameras, "What's it going to take for him to just say, 'Yes, I'll be there for my son!?'"

Kenny felt like Armando's father wasn't accepting his son "fully," which was upsetting and disappointing, but he decided against being "a wet blanket" and ruining Armando's moment since Armando apparently went the talk went well.

Armando told Kenny that his family was making progress and he felt good about things.

Kenny's daughter Cassidy, Armando's sister Deborah, and Armando's mother Virginia then visited a store to have a flower-girl dress made for Armando's daughter Hannah. Cassidy looked forward to bonding with the women.

Cassidy cried in the store about how it was hard to watch Armando's family slowly accept Armando's choice to marry Kenny. Cassidy grew up with a gay father and wasn't used to people opposing Kenny's way of life.

Cassidy told the women that Kenny truly loved Armando and Hannah and that Kenny would make both a great husband and father figure for Hannah. She just wanted the women to know that Kenny and Armando were in love and that Kenny did a great job raising his four children.

Armando, Kenny, and Cassidy later visited with Armando's family to say goodbye and thank them for their hospitality. Armando Sr. gave Cassidy a necklace, and that just melted her heart as well as Kenny's.

Kenny saw a light at the end of the tunnel for the first time, but he feared the rug was going to be pulled from beneath him eventually. Kenny wondered if Armando's father would show up at the wedding, which really concerned him.

ELLIE AND VICTOR

After witnessing the devastation on Providencia Island in Colombia after a powerful hurricane, Ellie and Victor had to determine their next move and where they were going to live.

Ellie said it was "heartbreaking" and "overwhelming" to see how Victor's home had been destroyed. The pair had been hoping to start a little bar in paradise, and now their plans had obviously changed.

"I want to support you and help you, but I don't know if we can live there full-time for a long time," Ellie told her partner.

Victor worried about running away and losing everything considering they had purchased a home in Providencia. Victor didn't want to see a stranger moving into his home or stealing his belongings in the aftermath of the storm.

"That's where our life is," Victor noted.

Ellie wasn't surprised Victor wanted to rebuild his home where he grew up, but Ellie desired "a solid plan" since she had given up her house, her business and her friends to be with him.

Victor suggested they could work hard in Providencia three days at a time and then return to San Andreas to rest and recuperate. Victor told Ellie it would take a long time but they could do it together.

"I hope I'm up for the challenge, but honestly, I don't know," Ellie said in a confessional, before assuring Victor, "I'm not going to give up."

JENNY AND SUMIT

The meeting with Sumit's parents -- when Sumit had revealed he's engaged to Jenny -- did not go well. Sumit wasn't feeling good after his mother Sahna had cried about the news and walked away from him in despair.

Sumit said once he returned home, Sahna called and explained how she was really upset.

"My mom was blaming my father that my father is not able to stop me from getting married or living with Jenny. After that, I was so broke that I could not even talk about it," Sumit told the cameras.

RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE: HAPPILY EVER AFTER?' COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER? WHO HAS SPLIT? WHERE ARE THEY NOW? (PHOTOS)

Sumit told Jenny that his mother threatened to make his life "hell" if he continued with his engagement to Jenny, and so Jenny asked, "What should we do?... I'm starting to feel really bad here, like, 'Is this all because of me?' I don't want to destroy your family."

Sumit said he had learned to lie from his father and avoid certain situations instead of telling the truth and suffering because of it.

Sumit revealed his younger sister had passed away at eight-months-old from jaundice and so his mother Sahna felt like Sumit was divorcing her and snatching away her happiness.

Sumit said Sahna blamed him for losing another daughter when he chose to get a divorce from his Indian wife.

"Sometimes I feel like my mom is getting revenge, like she is mad at me because she's not happy and she lost the girl she had a connection with," Sumit explained in a confessional.

"So maybe this explains that's why my mom [doesn't] like Jenny, because she considers Jenny to be the one who helped me in getting a divorce."

Jenny said Sahna needed professional help because she clearly didn't know how to control her anger, and Sumit said they needed a family counselor or psychiatrist for her mother.

"And we need someone for us, because I feel like we are going through hell," Sumit said.

"I agree," Jenny noted.
