NBC has officially postponed The Celebrity Apprentice until further notice.

"We will not be producing a new edition of the show this season, but it will be back for the 2016-2017 season, with a new host," Greenblatt told reporters at the Television Critics Association Press Tour.
NBC is reportedly looking for the right person to fill the hosting job, and when NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt was asked whether Trump may ever return, he said, "Absolutely not... At the moment, we're sort of separated."
Greenblatt could, however, "absolutely" envision a woman serving as host of the show in the future.
Although NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke told E! News the network isn't ready to name any people in contention for the position, celebrities such as Amal Clooney have allegedly been thrown out there.
"We're always looking for a host of that show who's going to make noise and be a big personality," Greenblatt reportedly explained.
"There's a few people out there who fit that bill. I guess people are just in the political world looking for somebody who just speaks their mind, regardless of anything else. [Trump] does that... Whether you agree with what he says, he says it without any kind of filter."
Greenblatt continued to compliment Trump, saying he's a "lovely guy" and "very much a collaborator." NBC and Mark Burnett also apparently never had a problem with the Republican candidate.
NBC cut business ties with Trump in June for having said Mexican immigrants are mostly druglords, rapists and criminals during a speech. The network later dropped the Miss USA pageant, which Trump partly owns. Trump threatened to sue NBC at the time.
