In a preview clip for Sunday's May 10 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Jenner confessed a secret she's been keeping from her many fans and critics.
"I have temporary lip fillers, it's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do," Jenner, 17, revealed in the promo obtained by E! News.
"I'm just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet because everyone always picks us apart. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything."
Jenner therefore admitted to "tip-toeing" around "the truth" when a journalist asked a question about her pouty lips, but she "didn't lie."
Jenner's lips have looked noticeably more plump and full in recent months, prompting speculation she's had work done. However, she always dodged questions about them being surgically enhanced or attributed her new look to being skilled with makeup.
The reality TV star's lips have become such a sensation among teens that Twitter uses created the "Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge" in which they sucked on a shot glass or plastic bottle for about five minutes to produce swelling.
The experiment had disastrous results for most participants because enormous bruises developed around their mouths.
"I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look," Jenner tweeted after the challenge got out of hand. "I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment w your look."
The next Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode airs Sunday night at 9PM ET/PT on E! and will feature Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian weighing-in on Jenner's lips and expressing support for her being honest about them.
