A new reality competition series called Bullseye is coming to Fox with Twilight star Kellan Lutz serving as the host.

Fox has announced Bullseye, which will feature four men and four women known as "weekend warriors" testing their bodies and brains by attempting to hit a bullseye in three ultimate challenges, will premiere Wednesday, May 27 at 9PM ET/PT.

Comedian Godfrey from The Godfrey Complex will co-host the series that will transform humans into giant darts designed to hit targets on land, sea and air. Only those with the sharpest aim will move forward through the challenges.

The first challenge will have eight competitors vying to hit the center of a stationary target while leaping from a moving 18-wheeler while being pulled by a helicopter or acting as a human slingshot being projected hundreds of feet through the air.

In round two, the remaining four competitors -- two men and two women -- will race to hit as many targets as possible while descending down a building or jumping between two racing speedboats.

In the third and final challenge, the remaining three competitors will race against the clock in a final test that has yet to be revealed. But once again, the objective will be to hit the bullseye, and the participants have the opportunity to win up to $50,000.

"I am a huge fan of extreme sports, and for me, nothing beats an adrenaline rush, which is why I am so excited to host this series," Lutz, an extreme sports enthusiast who also starred in The Expendables 3 and The Legend of Hercules, said in a statement.

"I love the concept of physicality and strategy combined with the most awesome challenges that will blow your mind. I am looking forward to watching these competitors push themselves out of their comfort zones and I'll be on the sidelines cheering them on, and probably wishing it were me trying to hit the BULLSEYE!"

Bullseye is being produced by Endemol Shine North America -- which is also behind Wipeout and Fear Factor -- and executive produced by Jon Kroll from The Amazing Race, Scott Larsen from Wipeout, Kevin Wehrenberg, J. Rupert Thompson, and Shye Sutherland.
