Former Jersey Shore stars Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola have officially ended their romantic relationship after five years of major ups and downs.

The pair was known for dating on and off throughout Jersey Shore's run on MTV. Ortiz-Magro and Giancola, 27, would get very serious at times, and at other points, they'd get into brutal arguments and part ways.
"I still care about her. She's a great girl, but we were growing distant. It was for the best," Ortiz-Magro said, adding that he's not sure whether he's ready to move on and date someone else.
The former reality TV stars reportedly split two months ago.
