The Bachelorette bachelor Jordan Rodgers finds picking out an engagement ring an "overwhelming" moment in a new preview clip released by ABC for the August 1 finale.

"There's a lot of moving parts today, and it's the biggest day of my life," Rodgers tells the cameras in the clip. "But this is how I wanted to feel: scared in the best way, and nervous in the best way."

Rodgers, a 27-year-old former pro quarterback, is then shown approaching Neil Lane in Thailand to pick out an engagement ring for The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher.

As he shakes Lane's hand, Rodgers admits, "Okay what are -- alright, I know what we're doing! But I'm a little nervous!"

"Overwhelming is the right word for sitting there, trying to pick out a ring," Rodgers admits in a confessional.

Lane then presents Rodgers with a ring featuring a large cushion-cut diamond with two rows of little diamond sparklers surrounding it.

"An engagement ring is forever -- it's gonna represent that promise that it's gonna be her and me for the rest of our life," Rodgers says.

As multiple reports claim, Fletcher gets engaged at the end of her The Bachelorette journey, so fans will soon find out if Rodgers or fellow Final 2 suitor Robby Hayes is the lucky guy.
