The Amazing Race featured Jeff "Pops" Bailey and Jeff Bailey getting eliminated in Dubai after a nail-biting foot race to the Pit Stop during the Season 37 episode that aired Wednesday night on CBS.

"Father and son" Pops and Jeff raced to the Pit Stop in Dubai on foot against another team but met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan in eighth -- and last -- place by a matter of seconds, resulting in their elimination.

"I can't even explain how proud I am of my Pops, man. He hung in there for the whole race," Jeff gushed of his father.

"Everything we've done is everything I wanted to do. Sure, we wanted the money -- we all want money out here," Pops added.

"But I actually got on a plane way up in the sky and jumped out! I've always wanted to do that, man!"

The guys agreed it was the most fun and challenging experience they ever did together, and Jeff pointed out how he got to watch his dad fly.

The Amazing Race broadcast began with the teams leaving Bali, Indonesia and flying more than 4,000 miles west to Dubai, which boasts cutting-edge modernism.

Phil revealed that the "Fast Forward" awaited the teams. The team to secure the Fast Forward would be able to skip all of the leg's tasks and head straight to the Pit Stop.

"Married Vegas performers" Brett Hamby and Mark Romain departed the Pit Stop in first place at 3:55AM, and "Best friends and gamers" Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge were right on their heels in second place.

Carson and Jack acknowledged they had some "bad blood" with "Married parents" Jonathan Towns and Ana Towns, and the tension could be cut with a knife at the airport. Jonathan and Ana clearly felt betrayed about the U-Turn and needed some time to get over it.

Once the teams landed in Dubai on the same plane, they traveled by taxi to the Platinum Heritage Desert Gate deep in the Arabian desert. Once there, they'd find a camp, where they'd select a coffee cup with a release time for the next morning.

The release times were 10 minutes apart from each other, around 5AM the next morning, and they were for camel rides. Everyone gushed about how it was such a cool moment.

"Siblings" Han Nguyen and Holden Nguyen then ripped open their next set of clues in first place.

The teams were instructed to complete a Roadblock task, which would be skydiving. After the participating Racers landed, each team must decide if they want to compete for the Fast Forward.

Teams had to make a hard and fast decision about who was going to jump. The remaining teams included "Mother and daughter" Melinda Papadeas and Erika Papadeas as well as "Brothers" Nick Fio and Mike Fio.

The Racers who chose to "drop into Dubai" were Jack, Holden, Alyssa, Ana, Brett, Nick, Pops and Melinda.

Carson landed in first place, and his team learned they must take a deep 200-foot scuba dive to receive the Fast Forward.

To earn the Fast Forward, Carson and Jack were required to dress in scuba gear and find a clue hidden in a dive set, which resembled a sunken ship.

The other teams, meanwhile, headed to Atlantis the Royal, where they must search for their next clue.

Once at the Atlantis hotel, the teams were required to garnish treats and place them on a tray under the watchful eye of the executive pastry chef. They essentially had to prepare afternoon tea.

While Carson and Jack were swimming, "Married nurse anesthetists" Alyssa Borden and Josiah Borden finished afternoon tea in first place, and so they ripped open their next set of clues in first place.

Alyssa and Josiah learned they must travel by taxi to Burj Al Arab Public Beach, where they'd find their next clue. Jonathan and Ana finished in second place while Melinda and Erika were racing in last place.

Carson and Jack ended up winning the Fast Forward, and so the guys advanced to the Pit Stop at the Museum of the Future.

Meanwhile, Alyssa and Josiah arrived at the beach and learned there would be another Roadblock in which one team member must try surfing and "ride a wave" on a motorized board.

Josiah decided to ride the wave, and he was later joined by Han, Jonathan, Mark, Jeff, Nick and Erika.

As expected, Carson and Jack arrived at the Pit Stop in first place, and they won a trip for two to go on a seven-night Alaskan cruise.

Han, who has surfing experience, finished the Roadblock in first place, and then she and Holden headed to a fast train, which would transport them to the museum Pit Stop.

Josiah felt like he was choking during the challenge, as he noticed other teams were catching up to him, but he got the job done on his third attempt. Some Racers, including Erika, got it on the first try.

Pops and Jeff finished the surfing Roadblock in seventh place, and Nick and Mike were behind them in eighth -- last -- place.

Pops and Jeff were disappointed when they had to wait for the next train because they knew it was going to be a foot race to the end against Nick and Mike.

Han and Holden made it to the Pit Stop in second place, which was their best finish so far. And then Alyssa and Josiah placed third.

Brett and Mark raced to the Pit Stop mat and met Phil in fourth place.

Jonathan and Ana touched on the mat in fifth place, and Melinda and Erika cheered about their sixth-place finish.

It was then a mad dash to the finish for the two teams of men. Nick, Mike, Pops and Jeff ran as fast as they could to the Pit Stop mat.

Nick and Mike finished the leg in seventh place, and so Pops and Jeff -- who finished in last place -- were eliminated from the Race.
