The "Urban Bike Racers" team became the seventh team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's ninth Pit Stop at Fullerton Pavilion in Singapore in last place.

"We took a chance but we did it together. It's been awesome. I've had such a great time, but yeah, it's hard to talk about it because we could've been in the Final 3," Alli said in tears following her team's ouster.

"We knew that we could make it all the way to the last leg, like, we knew it. We felt it," Kym said.

"But, we made a bold choice and we're not there," Alli added.

The ninth episode of The Amazing Race's 25th season began with the Race's five remaining teams leaving Fort Manoel in Malta.

"Married Surfers" Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks departed the eighth Pit Stop in first place at 9:25PM.

Following the surfers were "Married Dentists" Misti Raman and Jim Raman at 10:07PM, Kym and Alli at 10:50PM, "Food Scientists" Amy DeJong and Maya Warren -- whose time was not shown -- and "Dating Pro Wrestlers" Brooke Adams and Robbie E. Strauss at 1:07AM.

The teams' first set of clues instructed them to fly a quarter of the way around the world to the island nation of Singapore, and upon landing, catch a ferry to a nearby island and then run a mile into the jungle to search for the marked coconut stand called Pulau Ubin Coconut Stand. Once a team finished drinking one whole coconut, they'd receive their next clue.

All the teams also learned there was a Double U-Turn up ahead. Adam and Bethany's plan was to U-Turn the cyclists, which was a scheme that had originally been devised by Brooke and Robbie. The dentists and scientists were also onboard with this plan.

Adam and Bethany booked a flight with one connection in Paris that landed in Singapore at 6:40AM. Without doing much research, they figured it was the earliest flight available. Misti and Jim trusted the surfers and believed they had exhausted all their options, so they just followed their lead and bought tickets for the same flight.

However, Kym and Alli found a flight from Malta to Rome that would get them in Singapore at 6:00AM. The dentists overheard the situation and were frustrated with Adam and Bethany for not knowing that.

Jim explained that a new Race rule prohibits teams from changing flight tickets for something better once a seat is booked and paid for. Misti and Jim, along with Adam and Bethany, were therefore stuck on the flight that would arrive 40 minutes after Kym and Alli's flight.

Kym and Alli shared that convenient flight with Amy and Maya and Brooke and Robbie. The wrestlers were disappointed because they saw little hope in two teams getting to the U-Turn board before Kym and Alli.

Kym and Alli, ahead of the pack, drank their coconut in first place. They were then followed by Brooke and Robbie, Amy and Maya, Adam and Bethany, and Misti and Jim.

The teams then learned they could choose to complete a Fast Forward task, which would allow only one team the chance to skip all the leg's upcoming tasks and head straight to the Pit Stop, or continue on normally to their next clue destination.

For the Fast Forward, teams were required to head to the Wavehouse, where they must surf on the "flow rider" for two minutes with 30,000 gallons of water flowing every minute at speeds up to 20mph. The first team to achieve that goal would win the Fast Forward.

Kym and Alli struggled with the decision of whether to take the risk and just try the Fast Forward since they were in the lead. After some hesitation and debate, they rushed to the Fast Forward.

Surprisingly, Adam and Bethany chose to take an even bigger risk by also trying to complete the Fast Forward since it was a surfing task, which was their forte. Adam also knew the task was difficult and anyone without a background in the sport would likely struggle.

Adam and Bethany were already in last place, so they figured it was worth a shot. However, if they got to the Wavehouse and another team had completed it already, they admitted it would be "Race suicide."

As for everyone else, they were instructed to make their way to Marina Bay Sands Hotel and search the observation deck for their next clue.

Once at the hotel, it became time for one member from each team to attempt a Roadblock task.

For the Roadblock, the Racers had to walk a tightrope 600 feet above the ground atop a 57-story hotel from one tower to the next --picking up their clue on one side and then walking it back to their partner at the start.

Maya, Brooke and Jim all took on this task for their teams, and they finished in that same order. Jim struggled a bit though, as he fell off the tightrope and had to do it a second time.

The teams' next set of clues sent them to the Center Square Raffles Place where they'd find their next clue.

Meanwhile, Adam and Bethany arrived at the Wavehouse and found Kym and Alli trying to keep their balance on the waves. After about one minute, both girls fell and then it became time for Adam and Bethany to give it a try. Adam fell off on his first attempt, saying the technique was more like snowboarding than surfing.

Maya and Amy had made it to the Center Square in the meantime, and they were soon followed by Brooke and Robbie, and Misti and Jim.

Awaiting them was a Detour. The teams had to select one of two possible Detour tasks to accomplish: "China Cups" or "Chili Crabs."

"China Cups" required the teams to get detoxed by a deep-tissue massage, skin exfoliation and suction created by glass cups and fire. When the therapist felt blood flow was increased and toxins were removed, they'd receive their next clue.

"Chili Crabs" required the teams to prepare Singapore's national seafood dish. The Racers had to crack open crabs covered in chili sauce and collect two pounds of meat to receive their next clue.

Amy and Maya and Brooke and Robbie went for their massage. Misti and Jim opted to take on the crabs task, which proved to be very time-consuming.

Back at the Wavehouse, Adam and Bethany successfully completed a two-minute ride before Kym and Alli, and the girls were extremely upset and pissed off. Alli told Kym it was her fault for wanting to do the Fast Forward to begin with.

After completing the Fast Forward, Adam and Bethany discovered they must make their way to Fullerton Pavilion, which would serve as the Race's next Pit Stop. They made it to the mat and met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan before any of the other teams, winning a trip for two to Bali.

Meanwhile, Amy was in a lot of pain during her massage. She screamed, cried and almost quit. Brooke laughed as she was getting her treatment nearby. Before both teams left, they agreed to U-Turn the cyclists and the surfers.

Kym and Alli had to basically start the leg over from scratch considering they failed the Fast Forward. As a result, they went to the tightrope Roadblock, which Kym completed, and then headed to the Detour task.

Amy and Maya finished the Detour in second place -- as Adam and Bethany declared first -- and they were then followed by Brooke and Robbie, Misti and Jim, and finally Kym and Alli. Kym and Alli had done "China Cups."

The teams' next set of clues instructed them to head to Fort Canning Park and search for their next clue. The Double U-Turn board was present at the park, and Amy and Maya chose to U-Turn Adam and Bethany. Brooke and Robbie got to the board in third place and chose not to utilize the U-Turn. The wrestlers were convinced Bethany and Adam would get eliminated since Kym and Alli had done the Fast Forward.

Amy and Maya couldn't believe Brooke and Robbie didn't U-Turn the cyclists.

Next, the teams were sent to five different monuments -- only one of which held their next clue.

Brooke and Robbie found their clue at one of the monuments. After running into Maya and Amy, the wrestlers lied saying they had not found it at the correct location.

While Brooke and Robbie rushed to the Pit Stop, Amy and Maya took the wrestlers' word for it and skipped the monument closest to them. The girls soon found out they had been lied to and lost a lot of time because of it.

Afterward, Misti and Jim found their monument clue, as did Kym and Alli. Neither teams had been U-Turned, which pleasantly surprised Kym and Alli.

Brooke and Robbie then arrived at the Pit Stop in second place. Misti and Jim finished in third place, and they were able to take their "The Save" advantage home with them.

Amy and Maya met Phil in fourth place, and then Kym and Alli came running up to the mat only to discover they had finished in fifth -- and last -- place and were eliminated.
