Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is insisting she didn't have a good reason to marry her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, the father of her four-year-old son Lincoln.

In a recent Twitter exchange with a fan, the 26-year-old Teen Mom 2 star admitted why she wed Javi to begin with.
"When i met javi he lied to me and told me he didn't know who i was," Kailyn tweeted on Friday. "Creeped his twitter and sure as sh-t he had tweeted me a week prior. That was after he got picked to do True life and the girl refused."
When a Twitter user wrote to Kailyn, "But but but why did you got married with him if you knew all of this?" Kailyn responded, "I was young and ignored red flags apparently. What most would call desperate."
Javi, 25, clearly didn't appreciate Kailyn's comments.
"Stop tweeting about me. Stop seeking validation," Javi wrote to his ex-wife, although he later deleted the tweet, according to Us Weekly. "Move on, please. Like, we're grown now -- That's for the birds."
Followers soon realized Javi's comment was removed, and Javi told them it was "because we're too grown to be going back and fourth."
Javi added on Twitter, "I'm enjoying my life as privately as I can. I don't need to be looking for validation from social media."
Kailyn opened up in June about her dynamic with Javi, with whom she had previously starred on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars last year.
"Javi & I talked about getting back together at one point. Why? I don't know because we both knew we didn't want to & it would never work," Kailyn tweeted at the time.
"I regret even having those conversations. I regret filming about it. And hooking up w him as I know people from the reunion leaked that."
The MTV reality star is also mom to 8-year-old son, Isaac, and 1-year-old son Lux from two previous relationships.

After breaking up with Kailyn, Javi dated Kailyn's Teen Mom 2 co-star, Briana DeJesus, from October 2017 to January 2018.
When that didn't work out, Javi got back together with his ex, Lauren Comeau, in March. Javi and Lauren are now dating and expecting their first child together.
