Clyde "Bo" Pickler Jr., 41, was released from prison Monday and taken by his father to a hotel in New Port Richey, Fla., where he will live while serving out his parole for a 2003 stabbing, The New York Post reported Tuesday.

"I'm always the last to find out," the 19-year-old country singer told The Post. "I don't know when I'm going to see him. It's been so long -- I mean, where do you even begin?"

She said she would not speak to him by phone, but would wait for a face-to-face meeting with her dad.

Her father has been in and out of prison most of her life, her mother abandoned her when she was just a toddler and the budding singer was raised by her paternal grandparents.

Voted off last week as the Fox TV talent competition goes down to the wire, Pickler has been kept busy with a series of promotional and TV appearances.
