Jon Gosselin is still interested in returning to television but is uncertain if it'll be in a reality role.

"It would be nice to have a job on television again. I'm not so sure about reality," he told Us Weekly on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

"I'm just exploring my options right now, meeting with certain people about different ideas. I can't talk about it; you have to stay tuned."

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star remains under contract with TLC as part of a settlement that was reached between the two, however last month it was reported that he had "been approached to do several projects like invest in new companies or be the face of a certain product" and was also looking for more conventional full-time employment.

Despite his struggles finding a job, ex-wife Kate Gosselin has been busy in recent months -- as she competed on Dancing with the Stars' tenth season and is currently working on two new TLC projects.

While Kate is reportedly pressuring Jon to find a job, he said the two don't talk about business.

"We talk about: 'Hey, I'm going to be there at 2PM to pick up the kids. Is there gas in the van? Good,'" he told Us. "That kind of thing."

Jon was also mum on a recent report that Kate is "working on a deal to do a new reality dating series with ABC" that is "possibly matching her with single dads."

"I saw some stuff on the Internet about The Bachelorette, and I saw stuff about our own dating show, and I saw reports from our spokesperson that that's not true. At this point, I don't really mix in her business," he explained to Us, adding it would cause "conflict" if she were to land on a reality dating series.

"I don't know how I feel about it. I don't really want to comment on it. If there is verification, I will talk about it."

Jon is currently enamored by his latest girlfriend, 23-year-old Ellen Ross, whom he met on a blind date.

"We just kind of hit it off, backyard barbeques in Pennsylvania, hanging out, good times," he told Us. "She knew of me and all that stuff [and still] saw me as a normal person."

Jon described his relationship with Ross as "really different."

"It's like a comfort zone," he told Us, adding the two are taking things "day by day."

"I have a hard time talking about my personal life because of everything that happened last year. I just stray away from it. We just want to be left alone."
