After their initial meeting, Ross also reportedly accompanied Gosselin and his children on a trip to a playground in Wyomissing, PA on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Ross lives in Harrisburg, PA, which is close to Reading, PA -- where Gosselin recently moved into a one-bedroom apartment to be closer to his kids, who live with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin in Wernersville.
Jon's kids were initially "confused" when they met Ross last week, according to Us, which added they have since "really taken to Ellen."
"She's enjoying spending time with them," the source told Us.
While Kate and the eight children will return to TLC when Kate Plus 8premieres on June 6, Jon is reportedly in the process of looking for a "normal" job.
