'Voice' coach Adam Levine lashes out at Fox News over music usage

Adam Levine is demanding Fox News Channel stop playing his Maroon 5 band's music.

Levine, a coach on NBC's "The Voice," tweeted Wednesday, "Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil ... channel ever again. Thank you."

When MTV News asked the conservative-leaning news channel to comment, Fox News responded with tweets from anchors Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy of "Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld." Levy tweeted, "Dear @AdamLevine, don't make crappy ... music ever again. Thank you."

MTV said Thursday it was unclear what prompted Levine's angry tweet.
