The Golden Bachelor producers have revealed if viewers might see a new The Golden Bachelorette spinoff in the future.

The Golden Bachelor just premiered Thursday night on ABC with senior Bachelor Gerry Turner being introduced to 22 elegant and poised women, and Gerry's heartwarming and endearing story has most viewers wondering if there could be a similar "Golden Bachelorette" in the future.

The Golden Bachelor producers shared with Entertainment Weekly that a "golden" lady leading of the show is a real "possibility."

The Golden Bachelor executive producer Claire Freeland gushed, "It's been really inspiring to be part of this show for me."

"To be able to celebrate women of this age, and their stories, their life experiences, on the platform of mainstream media is very special," she continued.

Fellow executive producer Bennett Graebner admitted that he never realized "how much women in their 60s and 70s feel like they're not seen as viable romantic, sexual beings."

Bennett added, "And for the first time, we've heard it so many times from these women, they feel seen."

Gerry, for his part, said he'd totally be onboard with the franchise highlighting a senior lady as its star.

Gerry even mentioned how he'd "love to be involved" with the spinoff somehow, perhaps by being the Bachelorette's confidante.

"I think the advice I would give a Bachelorette is to be patient and surrender to the process," Gerry shared.

"Don't fight it. Allow it to take you on its path and stay open-minded to what could happen, because you never know what's around the next corner."

If ABC does decide to greenlight The Golden Bachelorette, fans can expect to see the star dressed to the nines.

"I am so excited at the idea of styling a Golden Bachelorette!" the franchise's longtime wardrobe stylist Cary Fetman told EW.

"My perception of dressing a 70-year-old woman is completely different than it was three months ago. There is truly an inner beauty that comes out with maturity of reaching a certain age that gives a confidence many 20-year-olds do not have."

Gerry has recently hinted that he found love on the show, and so it's more than likely viewers will want to see the same happen for one of his bachelorettes -- or for a golden newcomer.

"This is a great day, isn't it?" Gerry told EW earlier this month, suggesting he may currently be in love.

"I'm so pleasantly surprised by how things ended, there's absolutely no regrets."

Gerry also teased to TV Insider that if he did find the second love of his life -- following his late wife Toni's death in 2017 -- then he'd be open to getting engaged again.

"Oh, sure. That's a very realistic possibility," Gerry candidly noted.

"Let's face it, you get to 72, the clock ticks a lot faster than when you're 20. If I'm going to enjoy the rest of my life, I don't want to waste time. I want to find my girl and move on."

In the meantime, Bachelor in Paradise will continue to air on Thursday nights at 9PM ET/PT, and Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor, Season 28, is expected to premiere in January 2024.
