The Bachelor alum Peter Weber has revealed he thinks Clayton Echard's The Bachelor season is going to end with Clayton alone and single.

"My heart goes out to Clayton so much because I relate to Clayton in so many ways," Peter, who had fallen in love with several women on Season 24 of The Bachelor, said on Us Weekly's "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast.

"It's almost a little bit of PTSD for me, being pulled back into it, because I've been in that exact situation."

On The Bachelor's currently-airing 26th season, Clayton, 28, is edging closer to hometown dates.

While he's appeared to have made many deep connections, Clayton has given Rachel Recchia three group-dates roses as well as a one-on-one date rose. He also seemed very concerned about whether Rachel would be ready to introduce him to her family.

"My prediction is -- and I hate to say this -- that he ends up with no one and that it was supposed to be Rachel," Peter, 30, explained.

Peter suspects, however, Clayton's revelation he was in love with three women and had been intimate with two of them, which has aired in The Bachelor promos and teasers, was too much for Rachel to handle and overcome.

"[I predict] she loses it, and then who knows if they all walk away or how it ends -- or maybe he walks away because it was mainly Rachel," Peter reasoned.

"But I'm hoping that's not the case, but that's how I kind of think it ends. And then I could see either [Susie Evans] or [Gabby Windey] being the Bachelorette."

Peter said he's actually "kind of surprised" by how much validation Clayton has been able to show Rachel with "back-to-back" roses considering producers have a hand in how the show is going to unfold.

"He's very lucky he was able to do that," Peter told Us.

So far this season, both Rachel and Susie have expressed how they're "falling in love" with Clayton.

"If I'm looking at this as just a viewer here, I'm like, maybe production now is throwing up a little bit of a Hail Mary with Susie. They can't have Rachel separate too much from the pack," Peter pointed out.

"So now, you know, Susie's gonna come in and I don't think that it's there with Susie and Clayton as much it is with Rachel and Clayton."

Peter clarified that he doesn't believe Susie would "lie" about her feelings but Rachel is "just pulling away from the pack" too much.

"I do feel like [Susie] feels for him," Peter noted. "I would say Susie's, like, the No. 2."

In late November, Clayton confirmed on Good Morning America of his The Bachelor journey, "I did find love."

"And I was a little skeptical going into the whole journey, but I'm so pleasantly surprised that things worked out much different than what I had thought," he added at the time. "I'm excited to watch it back."

Peter said Clayton's wording during that interview is also a sign he may have left the show without a girlfriend or fiancee.

"I saw an interview where he was like, 'Yeah, I fell in love.' And that was very shocking to me because normally you're not supposed to say that and give it away," Peter shared with the magazine.

"And I think it's gonna be more of he found himself, a self-love type situation, like, he learned a lot about himself, and he is really excited about progressing and finding something in the future. We will see."

In addition to Rachel, Gabby and Susie, the bachelorettes who are still in the running for Clayton's heart on The Bachelor's 26th season are Eliza Isichei, Genevieve Parisi, Mara Agreat, Sarah Hamrick, Serene Russell, and Teddi Wright.

As for Peter, he's been single ever since his February 2021 split from The Bachelor alum Kelley Flanagan.

Peter's The Bachelor season ended with the pilot proposing marriage to Tennessee model Hannah Ann Sluss, but he broke off the engagement while his season was airing in early 2020.

Peter briefly reunited with his The Bachelor frontrunner Madison Prewett when they filmed The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, but the pair announced two days later they were going to go their separate ways.
