The 57-year-old entertainer, best known for her hit "Rose Garden," remained in jail Thursday afternoon with bail set at $1,000, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. She was expected to post the bail later in the day.
Anderson, who lives in Taos, N.M., was arrested about 7 a.m. after a caller reported a drunken driver weaving south on Interstate 35W at Denton, north of Dallas, police said.
Anderson eventually pulled over and stopped along the highway. Officers conducted a field sobriety test and then arrested her on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
