Sally Struthers has been released on $160 bail after she was arrested for suspicion of operating a car under the influence, police in Maine said.
Struthers, 65, is best known for her work on TV's "All in the Family" and "Gilmore Girls."
CNN reported Struthers was arrested early Wednesday in Ogunquit, Maine, on a criminal charge of operating under the influence.
She is to be arraigned Dec. 13.
People.com said Struthers is in Maine performing in a stage production of the musical "9 to 5."
"Sally is working and she is fine and she loves The Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges," her publicist said in a statement issued to People.com.
