Secret talks are under way between "Smallville" producers and the WB Network to give Aquaman his own show, sources report.

Although no one is ready to officially confirm the rumors, the New York Post notes a recent episode of "Smallville" featured Alan Ritchson as a college-age Aquaman who visited Clark Kent.

The Post also noted DC Comics, which holds the license to Aquaman, has told producers of the Cartoon Network's "Justice League Unlimited" to keep Aquaman out of their show.

That could mean Aquaman is already licensed by the "Smallville" team, the Post said.
