The Lafayette District Attorney has decided against filing criminal charges against the former Survivor: Samoa and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains castaway following an April arrest for battery, TMZ reported Monday.

Hantz was arrested in Lafayette after he allegedly "shoved" someone to the ground while attending the Festival International de Louisiane in late April.

However the district attorney decided against filing criminal charges against the 37-year-old at "the victim's request," according to TMZ.

Hantz finished as the Survivor: Samoa's runner-up before placing third on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains -- however he won the home-viewer awarded "Survivor of the Season" $100,000 prize after both seasons.
