Reality TV star Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano joins CBS' 'The Early Show'

Reality TV's Rob Mariano, aka "Boston Rob" made his debut Tuesday morning on CBS' "The Early Show."

Mariano's segment called "Rob to the Rescue" has him traveling across the country to help people in need, Zap2it.com reported.

His first good deed had him in Michigan helping a woman who rescues animals renovate her facilities, the entertainment Web site said.

Mariano has three reality stints under his belt -- two editions of "Survivor" and he competed in "The Amazing Race."

Mariano previously worked as a construction foreman.
