Zohn, 41, proposed to his girlfriend of two years Lisa Heywood, 47, on the dock of their New Hampshire lake house, People reported.

Zohn, who was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in 2009 and then again in 2012, met Heywood, a New York based interior designer, at a charity event in September 2013.

"This is the reason I survived cancer twice... to meet Lisa and start a beautiful and healthy new life together," Zohn, who is now cancer-free after receiving a stem-cell transplant from his brother two years ago, told People.

Zohn popped the question with a diamond ring he had reportedly designed himself. The ring holds the same diamond that had been a part of the engagement ring his dad -- who tragically died of cancer when Zohn was a young teenager -- gave his mother.

The Survivor: Africa winner and Survivor: All Stars castaway previously dated Jenna Morasca, 34, for 10 years. Morasca was his partner on The Amazing Race's nineteenth season and showed incredible public support for her beau during his cancer battles.

Zohn and Morasca, who won Survivor: Amazon, split in early 2013.
