TheProject Runway judge has confirmed he plans to wed his longtime partner Lance LePere now that same-sex marriage has been legalized in New York, People reported Friday.
"Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together," Kors told People.
"We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately."
The 51-year-old fashion designer and LePere have reportedly already stopped by the City Clerk's Office in Manhattan and obtained their marriage license.
Kors and LePere have known each other for 21 years, according to People, as they met back in 1990 when LePere was interning at Kors' company.
