Married at First Sight star Jasmine McGriff admits it's been hard to watch Kate Sisk break down on Season 8 because of her husband Luke Cuccurullo's lack of respect.

During a Tuesday night appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Jasmine -- who married Will Guess on the show -- talked to host Jamie Otis about Luke spending his one-month anniversary with friends instead of planning something nice for or with his wife Kate.

"I know when people are together for years, sometimes they tend to forget their anniversary. But this is one month in!" Jasmine explained.

"There is no excuse that he forgot. I just feel it's very selfish and it goes to show just where his head was at when it comes to him respecting her. I just feel so bad for her."

Jamie then confessed, "Me too. If I was Kate's friend, I would be like..."

"You need to get out!" Jasmine interjected.

"Yeah!" Jamie agreed.

The girls watched a Married at First Sight clip of Kate hysterically crying in bed on her one-month anniversary because Luke left her alone for the day.

"We are really watching a breakdown of somebody," Jasmine noted.

Jasmine also complained how Luke chose that special day to hang out with his friends "out of all days."

Jamie then asked Jasmine why she believes Kate decided to stay in the marriage and continue putting up with Luke's neglect.

"Because we see the really bad moments," Jasmine explained. "But I feel that there are times when they do have fun. But that's what manipulates you. She's being pulled in two different directions."

She elaborated, "One side is, 'We're actually good. He's a good cuddler and he's very helpful and he brings me tea,' but then on the other hand, he'll say something very rude to you, like call you a drunk when you're trying to communicate. It's hard to watch."

If Jasmine encountered similar issues in her marriage to Will, she insisted there would be "a lot more drama" for Married at First Sight viewers to watch.

"We would have been brawling!" noted Jasmine, who said she wouldn't have accepted such treatment from her husband.

"I just would have been a little more forceful with wanting to know what in the world is wrong with him and I would have been more demanding of his cooperation."

Prior to Luke bailing on his anniversary with Kate, he had accused her of having a drinking problem. He also called their first, post-wedding kiss "repulsive," saying he felt "dead inside."

Luke appeared to check out of his marriage after discovering he wasn't physically attracted to Kate, but the latest Married at First Sight episode showed Luke pleading with his wife not to file for divorce.

In addition to Kate and Luke as well as Jasmine and Will, Married at First Sight's eighth season on Lifetime also stars Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth as well as AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen.
