Married at First Sight featured Michael and Chloe getting married and hitting it off, except for some "concern" from Chloe about being Michael's second MAFS match during the Season 17 episode that aired Wednesday night on Lifetime.

Orion and Lauren already chose to divorce, but they continue to appear on the season every now and then.

Married at First Sight features strangers meeting at the wedding altar, enjoying a honeymoon, and spending about two months moving in together and navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together.

And at the end of the experiment, Married at First Sight's Season 17 couples will reach "Decision Day" and have to decide whether to remain married or decide to end their marriages and divorce.

The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pia, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with just about three weeks to go until Decision Day. Becca and Austin were shown traveling to Philadelphia to visit Austin's grandmother, and Michael was preparing to wed a stranger.

On Michael and Chloe's wedding day, Michael was feeling optimistic and hoped his marriage to a stranger wouldn't turn out the same as his first time at the altar, when his bride had jilted him.

Chloe, meanwhile, intended to let go of all control and try not to be a perfectionist on her big day. Chloe, who admitted she had dated "some very lame men," said she just wanted her groom to be authentically himself.

"I'd love to travel the world with her and do all the finer things, but really, what's missing, is all of those little small things, like going to the grocery store on a random Tuesday night... When I see her, I'll know immediately if something is up or if we're all good. So I'm hoping for the latter," Michael told his groomsmen while getting ready for his wedding ceremony.

Married at First Sight 17 stars Emily, Brennan, Lauren, Orion and Clare all planned to attend the wedding.

Michael explained how he had dressed in an understated manner for his first wedding and so he decided to wear loud clothing the second time around by rocking a pink suit. Michael said he enjoys expressing himself through fashion and he's well aware that he can be an acquired taste.

"I just want her to be willing to accept who I am as a person, but I'm hoping it's not overstimulation," Michael shared with the Married at First Sight cameras.

"She doesn't need to be eccentric like this... If she's a woman who likes a more clean-cut presentation, this might scare her a little bit, but I really hope that's not the case."

For Chloe's part, she was wishing for a lifetime of joy. A part of Chloe feared falling in love with her stranger husband and not having that love reciprocated, and so she was feeling a little anxiety about her groom not liking her.

Chloe therefore became emotional before meeting Michael. The idea of marrying a stranger suddenly hit her "like a ton of bricks," but she appeared to feel better when Michael gifted her a beautiful diamond Tiffany's necklace. Chloe, in turn, gifted Michael cufflinks.

Once Chloe was moments away from walking down the aisle, she said she felt like she was going to throw up. She was crying and shaking, telling her bridesmaids, "I am freaking out right now. I can't breathe... But I really want to be married, so I'm trying to tell my heart to stop beating so fast."

Chloe's father couldn't attend the wedding because he was battling some health problems, but her mother was present, and Chloe's good friend Cesar was also smiling big and had her back.

Chloe's mother then walked her down the aisle, and when Chloe said Michael for the first time, she smiled and said, "Hello." Michael told Chloe that she looked beautiful, and they seemed comfortable with each other.

Michael was told that his bride is a New Mexico native who is adventurous, witty, compassionate and caring. Michael learned that Chloe is a dog lover and she's sweet and charismatic.

"Chloe has got it all -- brains, beauty and booty," Chloe's maid of honor had written down.

Chloe then discovered from Michael's friends and family that Michael is a thought provoking, levelheaded, wise, caring and motivated man who grew up in Los Angeles, where he developed his unique fashion sense. Michael had also adopted three pets as an animal lover.

In their vows, Chloe grabbed Michael's hand, and she said he felt like "home" to her and she was so sure that he was her person. Chloe vowed to love and support him, as well as choose him every single day.

Michael told Chloe that he admired her for her commitment to this journey and he'd focus on hope, optimism, and a wish for love. Michael promised Chloe himself and then added, "I promise you us."

After both Michael and Chloe said, "I do," Chloe put Michael's face into her hands and pulled him close for a passionate kiss at the altar.

"I'm very attracted to my husband. He seems like a really good man... I feel like he's got a pure heart," Chloe gushed in a confessional after the ceremony.

And Michael shared, "The second time around, I don't think I could've hoped for a better experience. She's beautiful, and the tone that she has and her demeanor, all of those things, she just really comes off as a super sweet girl -- and that's what I was looking for."

Michael quickly had the confirmation that Chloe is sweet, silly and smart, which are the three qualities in a wife he had asked the experts for.

Chloe revealed how she had just adopted a blind poodle, and the pair immediately bonded over their love of helping innocent animals.

But then Michael dropped the bombshell about his first failed Married at First Sight marriage.

"Some of the other couples that are going through this journey [are here today], and the reason why they're here to show their support is originally, there was an attempt for me to be married at first sight along with them, but that did not happen," Michael explained.

"The woman they had matched me up with at the time felt like she couldn't go through with it. But I just want you to know that our journey is our journey. I don't want you to think that you're receiving a broken man or that there's any residual from that first experience."

Michael insisted, "There is none of that, and this [journey] is uniquely ours. For all intents and purposes, I'm here to experience this with you."

Chloe responded by saying, "What is meant for us will never, ever, ever pass us."

Michael and Chloe then popped champagne with the rest of the MAFS cast, who all expressed how Michael was totally committed to the process and was such a catch given he had handled his first almost MAFS marriage with grace and resilience.

Michael thought this match was best case scenario, and he and Chloe had natural chemistry when they took wedding photos together. They even kissed without being prompted, and Chloe said their connection felt organic, soft and comfortable.

Michael was also relieved that his bride was attracted to him, and she showed interest in all of his tattoos.

"To get that positive feedback, I couldn't feel more affirmed that we truly are a great match together," Michael gushed in a Married at First Sight confessional. "Not only that, but in our own way, I feel like we've already started to develop an intimate relationship."

During Michael and Chloe's wedding reception, Lauren and Orion had a conversation in which Lauren shared how she didn't feel any lingering animosity to him for wanting a divorce. Lauren said she struggled not to blame herself for the divorce but it was definitely a time of growth for her.

Orion admitted he tended to be a stubborn person and he was sensitive to yelling and toxicity in a relationship. Orion said he didn't like elevated voices in a conversation and he was trying to protect himself when he and Lauren had arguments.

Orion ultimately asked Lauren for a hug, and they appeared to be on good terms. Orion told Lauren, "I'm glad you're doing okay."

Later that evening, Chloe confessed to the other MAFS brides how she was "a little concerned" about being Michael's second bride this season.

"Because I'm wondering why the experts didn't see me as the fit the first time," Chloe explained.

Clare, Emily and Lauren, however, put Chloe at ease by telling her that Michael was genuine and brought a fun and calm energy to the table. They asked her not to lose sight of the fact she had been matched with a good and outgoing man who truly wanted to be married and was on the show for the right reasons.

During the reception, Clare admitted it was "super strange" to be at this wedding venue without her husband, Cameron. Clare therefore called Cameron on the phone but he didn't answer her call.

"I miss you. This is definitely not the same without you. I just want to make sure you're doing okay," Clare said in a voicemail, referring to how Cameron had just gone under the knife for a heart surgery.

Everyone danced at the reception and had a great time, and Michael gushed to Chloe's family and friends about how she lit up a room. Chloe, meanwhile, told Michael's groomsmen that her groom is exactly what she had been waiting for.

But Chloe admitted of being Michael's second MAFS match, "I'm glad they left me in the dark, because I probably would not have continued. But I believe wholeheartedly that the experts got it right with us."

Chloe elaborated, "My only fear is that he hasn't sat with it. She was not meant for him, but it doesn't mean it didn't hurt a lot. I just hope he's had a chance to heal from something he maybe didn't even realize he had to heal from."

Michael's groomsmen assured Chloe that Michael is very intelligent and had put in the effort and time to reflect on his first almost marriage and genuinely move on from it.

Chloe and Michael also discovered that they were on the same page about children. Chloe doesn't want to have a child of her own, but she's open to adoption and/or fostering, and Michael was apparently perfectly fine with that.

During the reception, Emily had fun and danced with some guys, but she accidentally broke his glass and yelled, "My bad!" While Emily was still convinced she and Brennan had chemistry, Brennan looked annoyed and embarrassed by his wife -- and he seemed to keep his distance from her.

"I'm just trying to have fun, and I hope [Brennan] comes along," Emily told the cameras.

After the wedding, both Michael and Chloe were so happy, and Chloe gushed about how her groom had checked off all of her boxes. Chloe thought her marriage to Michael could be something really special.

Once Michael and Chloe entered their honeymoon suite, Michael helped his bride out of her dress, and she played a prank on him in which she exited the bathroom with eyelashes on her forehead.

Chloe blushed at the idea of snuggling and sleeping next to Michael, and she said the thought of it made her feel hot.

"I feel like we are further ahead than I ever could have imagined coming into all of this," Chloe told the Married at First Sight cameras.

Chloe and Michael then got into bed together and appeared to fall asleep cuddling, with Michael as the big spoon.
