Married at First Sight couple Danielle Bergman and Bobby Dodd have welcomed their second child into the world.

"We are so excited to announce that Bobby lV is here!! He is the sweetest baby ever and we are so happy to finally be a family of 4!" Danielle captioned a photo of her swaddled son Wednesday on Instagram.

And Bobby posted a photo of the newborn on his own Instagram page.

"My guy!! Came out throwin' up the 4!" Bobby wrote of his son, who was flashing four fingers.

Danielle and Bobby named their son Robert Elvin Dodd IV to continue with a Dodd family tradition.

The baby was born at 12:01PM on Monday, December 14, and the little bundle of joy weighed in at six pounds and five ounces, according to People. The baby also reportedly measured 18.75 inches long.

"We are so excited to announce the birth of our baby boy, Robert Elvin Dodd IV. This time around we got the birth story of our dreams, given the circumstances," Danielle, who was hospitalized with HELLP syndrome for the second time, told People in a statement.

HELLP is a serious pregnancy complication usually considered to be a variant of preeclampsia, which is characterized by high blood pressure. Danielle suffered the same complication when pregnant with her daughter, Olivia.

"Because symptoms of HELLP were beginning to set in, we were induced 3 weeks early but were able to have a smooth and peaceful birth," Danielle said.

The baby was initially due on January 2, 2021.

"He is a happy and healthy boy and we can't wait to bring him home to meet his sister," Danielle told the magazine.

Robert Elvin Dodd IV joins his older sister Olivia, who was born in late February 2019.

"Olivia is having a blast at home with her grandparents and has no clue that things are about to change! They are exactly 22 months apart and we cannot wait to watch them grow up together," Danielle gushed.

Danielle reportedly said it was "divine intervention" that resulted in her delivering the baby on the "perfect day."

"[If I were] still pregnant today, I would have gotten very sick, only another day or two," Danielle explained.

"Delivering is the only treatment for HELLP, and since I already did yesterday, my body functions tanked today but should start recovering soon. I hope."

She added, "[Our doctor] said the body response lags behind 12 and 24 hours, which is why we see numbers tanking the day after."

Danielle and Bobby's second pregnancy came as a huge shock to the Married at First Sight couple, who were admittedly "blindsided" by the news.

They discovered they were expecting Baby No. 2 during a late June episode of Married at First Sight: Couples Cam.

On June 27, Danielle was 13 weeks into her pregnancy. Danielle revealed in the episode she had a feeling her baby was going to be a December baby.

Danielle was also shown revealing the baby's gender to Bobby in a subsequent episode of the spinoff on Lifetime.

"I know he's completely fallen in love with Olivia. He really does mean it when he says he'd be happy with another girl," Danielle shared.

"But I also think there's a part of him that's not trying to give his hopes up because he's always wanted a son."

After a doctor called Danielle on the phone and revealed she was expecting a boy, Danielle approached Bobby and told him that their baby was healthy, which was "the best news."

"And you're having a baby boy," Danielle quickly revealed.

"You're kidding me?!" Bobby responded. "You swear? 100 percent?"

"One hundred percent," Danielle replied in tears.

Bobby said having a child of each gender was the "absolute best of both worlds" and he couldn't wait to call and share the news with everyone they know.

Danielle, a stay-at-home mom, and Bobby, a construction project manager, tied the knot on Season 7 of Married at First Sight, which aired in 2018.

Danielle and Bobby announced they were expecting their first child together in October 2018, just hours before Married at First Sight's Season 7 reunion special was set to air on Lifetime.

The couple's first pregnancy played out on Lifetime's spinoff, Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After?, which premiered in late October 2018.

While most couples on Married at First Sight argue and attempt to work through major issues every season after marrying total strangers, Danielle and Bobby seamlessly settled into their new life together.

Not only did the pair avoid conflict entirely, but both individuals rated their partners a "Perfect 10" halfway through the extreme eight-week experiment, and their connection only grew stronger and deeper from there.

When it became time to choose whether to remain married or file for divorce on "Decision Day," Danielle and Bobby promised each other "forever," and Bobby sealed the deal by getting down on one knee and offering his wife a diamond engagement ring.
