TMZ reported Lohan was free to leave her Venice, Calif., home as of Wednesday morning after 35 days of house arrest.
The "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star was ordered to stay home after she violated her probation in a drunken driving case by stealing a $2,500 necklace.
Lohan's once-bright film career has been eclipsed in recent years by her legal woes and battles with addiction.
