Kim Kardashian is going to great lengths in order to back her husband Kanye West's claims that Taylor Swift approved of lyrics used in his controversial song "Famous."

Kardashian posted on Snapchat on Sunday clips from a secret phone call West and Swift shared in which the pop star is heard giving the outspoken rapper permission to use her name in the song.

"Famous," released in February alongside West's seventh studio album The Life of Pablo, reignited his feud with Swift after rapping "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that [expletive] famous." West would state that Swift "gave her blessings" to the song, which her rep later denied.

"It's like a compliment, kind of" Swift is heard saying in the Snapchat clip to West after he recited part of the lyrics - "For all my Southside [expletive] that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex" “ to her.

"What I give a [expletive] about is just you as a person and as a friend. I want things that make you feel good. I don't want to do rap that makes people feel bad," West responds.

"Go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue-in-cheek either way," says Swift.

"It's just you gotta tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you experienced it," she said before stating that she would own up to knowing about the song at the Grammys.

Following the release of the secret conversation, Swift responded to Kardashian and West on Instagram stating that she was unaware of, and did not approve of all the lyrics used in the song.

"Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that [expletive]' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened. You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that [expletive]' in front of the entire world," the singer wrote on the photo sharing site. Swift captioned her response "That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet."

"He promised to play the song for me, but he never did," she continued. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009."

Kardashian uploaded the video to Snapchat following Sunday's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in which the feud between the married couple and Swift took center stage.

Kardashian had previously called out the 26-year-old in GQ calling her a liar and stated that she "totally approved" of the lyrics used in "Famous."
