The Bachelor host Chris Harrison sees great potential in Chris Soules' dynamic with bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe.

"Kaitlyn and [Chris] have had an interesting relationship since Day 1. He sees something in her and did from the first moment they hung out," Harrison told TV Guide, adding that she's the opposite of Britt Nilsson.

"She's the anti-Britt and I often see the Bachelors fall in love with different women who represent different things."

So what did Nilsson have that Bristowe didn't and vice versa?

"Britt had that beauty and emotion, whereas Kaitlyn is just fun and he doesn't have to try or think around her. Chris isn't the 'hey, look at me' guy, so he likes a girl who will be like that, and she's crazy for both of them and he loves that because it's crazy in a good way," the host explained.

Harrison said Bristowe and Soules had a "very special bond."

"I don't think it's just kid-friendly stuff. He really adores her," he elaborated.

In fact, Soules asked Bristowe's father and stepdad for permission to propose in case he ended up selecting her as his final bachelorette. They both "lovingly obliged," according to Soules' People blog.

Like Whitney Bischoff, Bristowe also told Soules she's in love with him. However, she didn't share her feelings verbally. Instead, the wise-cracking Canadian lit up a "Kaitlyn <3 Chris" sign outdoors in Phoenix, AZ, for him to see.

"Some of you might remember that at my hometown date with [Andi Dorfman], I had a plane pull a sign that said 'Chris Loves Andi.' I wasn't ready at the point to say the words 'I'm in love with you' to her, but I was almost there. Seeing that billboard with Kaitlyn's and my names, I knew what that meant," Soules said in his blog.

"I knew she was on her way to being in love, and it was her way of telling me how she felt. Knowing that Kaitlyn had been reserved in the past with her feelings, it meant the world that she put herself out there like that."

Harrison, however, clearly wasn't that impressed with Bristowe's "sign" of affection.

"I don't know if Kaitlyn ever said I love you; that was a billboard with a heart. I feel like that's cheating, so ill give it a half I love you," Harrison said. "Is Kaitlyn's love real?"
