June "Mama June" Shannon and her longtime partner Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson have made some scandalous confessions about their relationship in preparation for the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

"My biggest issue was my cheating," Thompson told Toofab in a joint interview with Shannon. "I've done that and shouldn't have, and I look back on it, I regret it, and I wanted to go to Marriage Boot Camp and get the help that I need."

"People are gonna see a side of Sugar Bear they didn't see on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," Shannon said. "I think the fans are gonna be shocked a little bit, people in the house were even shocked because they were fans of the show. I just told him to go in there and be open and honest, it's not a vacation."

Thompson admitted his unfaithfulness greatly surpassed "Internet chatting," despite previous reports suggesting otherwise. To make matters worse, Shannon revealed Thompson had an affair with a co-worker's wife.

"It was really hurtful because... it was a good friend of ours that we've known for quite some time. The woman had been to dinner several times," Shannon explained.

"I told him, a lot of times, people aren't liking you for Mike Thompson, they're liking you because, Sugar Bear, you're Honey Boo Boo's dad. You gotta realize who's really there for you, and who's a fanatic and just wants to say 'Oh my God, I slept with Sugar Bear.'"

Shannon added that "the truth will be revealed about everything," so much that she actually took a lie detector test for proof.

"I have nothing to hide... I had nothing to hide going in," she insisted.

Although Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars doesn't premiere until December 4 at 9PM ET/PT on WE tv, the season already taped and it apparently didn't fix Shannon and Thompson's relationship problems.   

"We are still living separate," Shannon told Toofab. "We see each other on the weekend and there's some things he still needs to work on. The trust is still not there 100%. I still tell him, in the house you have to be honest no matter what the consequences are."

Rumors of Thompson's infidelity began circulating in September 2014, when TMZ reported Shannon had kicked him out of the house after catching him surfing online dating websites.
