'Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition' recap: Rap battles lead to shocking revelations, including Soulja Boy and Nia's miscarriage

Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition featured the five couples participating in a heated rap battle and spicy-food challenge, which ultimately turned out to be blame games, during Thursday night's episode on WE tv.
The couples on Marriage Boot Camp this season are former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood couple Soulja Boy and Nia Riley; former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta couple, rapper Waka Flocka and wife Tammy Rivera; former Love & Hip Hop: New York couple Lil' Mo and husband Karl Dargan; Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta couple Jessica Dime and fiance Shawne Williams; and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood couple Lil' Fizz of B2K, formally called Dreux, and ex-girlfriend Tiffany Campbell.
The couples were given 10 days to get to the core of who they are as individuals and what they wanted out of their relationships.
The pairs of spouses, lovers or estranged hearts were forced to leave their lavish lifestyles of champagne and fancy cars behind to work through their scandals, dark secrets, and cheating allegations under the guidance of therapists Dr. Venus Nicolino and Dr. Ish Major.
The Marriage Boot Camp episode began with Nia discussing with Dr. V how she used to beg and plead for Soulja Boy's attention and affection but she no longer cared to receive it.
The short exercise led into a series of rap battles between partners -- and the individuals had to include the five things they previously wrote down about blame in their lyrics.
Lil' Mo rapped about how women talk about her husband on the Internet and a February 6 miscarriage broke her heart.

"These dirty miserable b-tches want to ruin our happy home," she rapped, before asking Karl what he would do if she had a man on the side.
In his rap, Karl asked his wife to play her role because he also has a job and his own thing going on.
Jessica and Shawne were up next, and he admitted trying to rhyme was like "trying to land on the moon." Jessica accused Shawne of acting like he knows everything, and Shawn just kept repeating how she's "too hood" and "too ratchet" for him.
Dreux rapped that Tiffany's attitude was bad and his "appetizer" was trying to be "full course meals." In reply, Tiffany said she's mad at herself for wasting her time because she can get any man she wants.
Waka Flocka asked Tammy to forgive him about his past life and just let it go, and then she said it's difficult to handle the image of his being his wife.
Soulja Boy and Nia's battle was next and was pretty dramatic.
"I told you everything all good, but Nia, you just don't listen. It ain't my fault that we don't talk. Baby you be makin' me distant. I just be sittin', sittin' back chillin', but you be going trippin'. You be pressin' a n-gga. You just be stressin' a n-gg-."
Nia eventually rapped, "She told him, 'Always hurtin' me while you're actin' like a big baby. You're the reason we lost our real baby," which caused the entire group to gasp.
Nia wasn't sure they could get past their issues, as "too much damage" had been done.
Nia vented about how she's never hated someone so much in her life before, and he called her "disrespectful."
After exchanging slams, Soulja Boy and Nia broke out into a screaming match. He said she was acting like "a stupid ass ho" and she yelled at him that he needed to learn how to speak to her.
"I don't care about any of this sh-t," Soulja Boy said.
"I know! That's the problem! You don't care 'bout sh-t but yourself. I'm going to leave this time. Are you alright? Don't try to kill yourself this time!" Nia screamed on the verge of tears.
Dr. V said "words about suicide, whether you're joking or not, are always weapons" in a relationship.
Dr. V and Dr. Ish then sat down with the couple after their explosive argument so Soulja Boy and Nia could air their grievances.
Dr. V explained Nia inappropriately lashed out and should never have exposed Soulja Boy's darkest secrets in front of the group. Dr. Ish added suicide should never be something to joke about.
Nia's words came from a place of pain, as she told the doctors, "I was almost 16 weeks and we were fighting a lot, and that was the cause of me losing the baby... I feel like he acted like it never happened, and that hurts a lot."
Dr. V asked Nia to show Soulja Boy the comfort she so desperately sought from him. The pair then exchanged apologies and attempted to move on from the fight.
Nia admitted the suicide comment was wrong and it's something that should never be said.
Later on, the Marriage Boot Camp participants were challenged to "eat [their] words," according to Dr. V.
The couples were forced to eat hot peppers and other spicy foods until one person in the relationship chose to take the blame for a certain topic broached.
One of the courses, for example, happened to be red jalapeno peppers.
Waka Flocka took the blame for Tammy's trust issues, but Lil' Mo wouldn't accept the blame for treating her husband like a "lesser" person. Jessica surprisingly took the blame for being too "ratchet."
Soulja Boy claimed he smoked weed to deal with the stress of his relationship, blaming his bad habit on Nia.
"That's a lie," Nia insisted. "No, I'm not taking that."
To his immediate horror, Soulja Boy took a bite of a pepper because he was so stubborn and needed Nia to take the blame.
Dr. Ish then stepped in and said, "Now explain to me how this woman is responsible for you smoking all day?... You don't have enough coping skills on your own to deal with her so you have to add a foreign substance to your body just to be around this woman?"
Soulja Boy claimed the weed helped to calm him down in stressful situations, but he eventually owned up to smoking even when communication was good between them.
Tiffany also accused Dreux of making her feel like she's just "a f-ck buddy" when she's supposed to be his girlfriend. He then confessed to being selfish at times and making his desires the priority.
Dr. V explained the exercise was about taking responsibility for one's actions before throwing blame around because blame "burns" a romance and hurts people.
The episode concluded with Judge Lynn Toler from Divorce Court addressing the couples and discussing what had transpired over the last day.
Judge Toler then forced one couple to eat an entire plate of hot peppers as a punishment for not doing their job to the fullest extent, and she placed the peppers in front of Dreux, who refused to eat anything.
After two hours, Dreux and Tiffany were still sitting at the table, and Dreux could not open up to his love interest. He admitted that he kept running into the same problems with women and so he must've had some issues to work out with the doctors.
