MTV has announced it has ordered a fourth season of Jersey Shorethat will be filmed in Italy this spring and air later this year.
"While the statesideJersey Shore locales have become iconic for our audience, it's really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season, and Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us," MTV executive Chris Linn said.
"The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can't wait to see what erupts as a result."
Although the network released few details about what the cast's Italian adventures will entail, it did revealthe fourth season will include a drop-in visit for dinner with some of Jersey Shorestar Vinny Guadagnino's overseas relatives.
