"I have thought about being on Dancing with the Stars," Studdard recently told AOL's PopEater entertainment news website in response to a fan question about whether he had ever considered participating in the ABC dance reality competition.
"I think it's a wonderful show and I would love to be a part of it," the second-season American Idol champion added.
Studdard recently performed his new single "Together" on last Thursday's live results show of American Idol's eighth season in support of his new album Love Is, which is scheduled to drop on Tuesday, May 19.
"I'm on tour right now currently with the thirtieth anniversay tour of the Broadway musical Ain't Misbehaving but my album comes out May 19 and I plan to go out on tour for that soon thereafter," Studdard told PopEater.
