Cyndi Lauper is to headline the 14th annual "Entertainment Tonight" Emmy Party in Los Angeles, organizers said Tuesday.
Lauper's performance follows in the tradition of "ET" party headline acts such as Prince, Mary J. Blige, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
"Cyndi Lauper is timeless," Linda Bell Blue, executive producer for "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider," said in a statement Tuesday.
"She's a fantastic and exciting performer. Our guests are in for a surprise, because you don't know what to expect with Cyndi."
"The 'ET' party is supposed to be off the hook! And since I'm doing it, were going to have some fun," Lauper added.
