Britney Spears's representatives say the security guard accusing the U.S. pop star of sexual harassment is trying to "make a name for himself."

Fernando Flores said Spears exposed herself to him, insulted him and threatened to fire him for unfair reasons, People.com said. He also alleges the 28-year-old singer engaged in sex acts in front of her two preschool-age sons.

The recording star's camp denied the allegations in a statement on Spears's official Web site.

"This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," the statement said.

"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."
