Becca, 31, initially appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor, which wrapped in early 2018, and then she starred on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season.

Becca got engaged to her The Bachelorette winner Garrett Yrigoyen at the end of her season, but she announced their split in early September 2020.

Thomas, 29, became known as one of the villains on Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette.

Katie dumped Thomas on the series' seventeenth season for allegedly being on the show for the wrong reasons. At one point, he confessed to thinking about possibly becoming the next The Bachelor star for Season 26.

Katie was concerned that Thomas had been using her as a stepping stone to boost his career and fame.

Katie even called Thomas "a liar" as well as "selfish" and "unkind" when she eliminated him at a Rose Ceremony. (Thomas later apologized for his insulting behavior on The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All.)

In late June, Katie said on "The Viall Files" podcast hosted by Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall, "I am nervous for any woman who interacts with Thomas, honestly. He's a smooth talker. I wouldn't be surprised if he recycles some lines with me on some of these women... Good luck to them."

"If he's on Paradise, I don't care who he's with, I'm going to be like, 'Watch out, girl!'" Katie said, adding that she wasn't "open" to "changing [her] mind" about the bachelor either.

On Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season, Thomas stole Tammy Ly away from Aaron Clancy.

Just as Tammy began thinking she had found the man of her dreams and started to trust Thomas, Becca received a Date Card and focused her attention on the well-spoken, charming and charismatic bachelor.

Tammy gave Becca permission to take Thomas on a date, saying they'd remain friends no matter what and Tammy would never want to get in the way of a possible connection.

But once Becca and Thomas embarked on their date, their co-stars questioned Thomas' intentions. Thomas was accused of finding "the perfect victim" given Becca is so famous, and Demi Burnett wondered if Thomas was being genuine or just putting on a show.

Thomas had definitely been involved in drama, both on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, but Becca expressed to the cameras how she wasn't going to hold Thomas' edit on Katie's season against him.

"I have been blindsided in the past, but I said that I was going to come in here open-minded and with no expectations or any pre-conceived notions. So I'm going to give him a chance," Becca noted.

Becca explained to Thomas on their dinner date how she had been engaged before and thought she was going to marry Garrett and have children with him, and so when things ended, she put walls back up.

"I'm scared to be doing this," Becca confessed to Thomas.

Thomas said it was okay to be afraid but he'd never want to leave "what if" on the table. Thomas shared how he also felt trepidation to join the Paradise cast but felt really good by Becca's side, and she gushed about how she was "smitten" and couldn't stop smiling.

Thomas and Becca then danced and laughed to the sounds of a mariachi band, and Becca was ultimately glad she had traveled to Mexico to find love again.

"I'm starting to feel tonight what I think Paradise should be," Becca said.

Later on, Thomas let Tammy down gently that he was more interested in pursuing a future with Becca.

"I had feelings for someone else last night and I didn't feel guilty about it," Thomas confessed to Tammy.

Aaron called it "karma" for Tammy since she had previously dumped him for Thomas, and then Tammy was shown fighting for Thomas and trying to convince him to choose her.

Thomas said he wasn't sure if he and Tammy could have a serious and lasting relationship in the real world, and he admitted to feeling more stability with Becca.

Tammy started to cry and said she had risked a lot for Thomas only to get hurt and "feel like a fool." Thomas assured Tammy that she's amazing, sweet, capable and worthy, but she didn't want to hear it.

"Everyone [warned] me but I believed you!" Tammy shouted, before walking away and bawling her eyes out.

Thomas then found Becca and made out with her, and he ended up giving Becca his rose at the season's third Rose Ceremony.

"If I knew it was going to end up like this, I would not have chosen Thomas over Aaron... I'm so angry at myself. I feel so betrayed, I feel so stupid," Tammy lamented. "I feel like an idiot. I came here to find a deeper connection than ever before, and I did, but it was all a lie."

Becca seems to think Thomas is too good to be true, and a recent preview showed Becca crying, chasing after Thomas and jumping into his arms.

So did Becca and Thomas' break up in Paradise or did they continue their relationship on TV? And what is the status of Becca and Thomas' romance now?

Becca and Thomas don't make it to the Bachelor in Paradise finale

Becca reportedly continued dating Thomas on Bachelor in Paradise and the pair never got involved with anyone else.

However, Becca and Thomas broke up before the overnight Fantasy Suite dates and they both left the show single, according to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone.

But in early August, Instagram spoiler sleuths on noticed Thomas and Becca seemed to be hanging out in the same kitchen based on the distinctive countertop that was visible in the background of their recent social-media postings.

And Carbone reported on August 31 that Becca and Thomas reunited in the real world after the show and are currently dating!

"Becca and Thomas break up before the finale and leave the show separately. There's been rumors floating around given the amount of DM's and emails I've gotten on it, and yes, those rumors are true," Carbone wrote in an August 31 blog post.

"Becca and Thomas have gotten back together post filming and are dating."

While many Bachelor in Paradise viewers are concerned about the seemingly sweet and good-hearted Becca dating Thomas, Becca appears to have total confidence in her love interest.

Becca recently posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram of Thomas rubbing her feet in Paradise, and she captioned the image, "This little piggy went to the beach."

Thomas commented on the picture, "Little do people know, you're actually smiling at the floor to ceiling stack of Doritos behind me."

One of Becca's followers commented, "This guy has 'red flags' written all over him."

But Becca clapped back and wrote on September 8, "Red is my favorite color."

Katie Thurston even showed that she is supportive of Becca and Thomas' romance when she commented on Becca's social-media picture of the couple, "Obsessed with this. [Sunglasses emoticon]. look how you look at him!"

Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams says Becca and Thomas are a good match

While Bachelor in Paradise viewers may be skeptical of Thomas and whether he's a good partner for Becca, Wells was afforded the chance to observe the couple in action during their summer romance in Mexico.

"Personally, I like Thomas. He is a guy that is very good at speaking and as someone who's a radio host, I appreciate that. It wasn't a red flag for me that, like, he's well-spoken," Wells, 37, told Us Weekly amid criticism Thomas is a smooth-talker and manipulative.

"That's a weird thing to get on someone for. I think the concern is that you know, Becca has a tendency to not choose the best guys in the world. But for this, I do think that Thomas is a good guy."

Wells, in fact, believes Thomas is "getting a bad rap" on Bachelor in Paradise because "a lot of people hated him" on Katie's The Bachelorette season.

"And so I don't think it's an apples-to-apples comparison," Wells told the magazine. "I'm rooting for both of them. I like both of them and we haven't seen a lot of in the past couple episodes, so I'm totally team Becca and Thomas right now."
