The third season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days premiered August 4, but Angela and Michael didn't appear on the show until its August 11 episode.

Angela and Michael are reality TV veterans, as they had previously appeared on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

As viewers probably recall, Angela was a 52-year-old nursing assistant for Hospice from Hazlehurst, GA, when she became acquainted with Michael, a 30-year-old from Nigeria, for the first time online.

Angela helped to raise six grandchildren and had been married before and divorced young. Angela never thought she'd marry again until she met Michael on Facebook.

After talking for a few months over the phone and social media, Angela traveled to Nigeria to meet Michael in person.

She planned to propose marriage to Michael right away in Nigeria, but then she discovered some red flags, such as Michael admitting to have received oral sex from a woman at a club. Angela therefore pushed her proposal off and felt the need to get to know Michael better.

But Angela said she and Michael made up after every fight and truly fell in love with each other. Angela said Michael had her heart and he made her feel appreciated and wanted.

Angela, however, received plenty of warnings from her friends she was being scammed by Michael, whose formal name is Kehinde Ilesanmi.

And Michael's intentions weren't exactly clear given he wanted to move to the United States badly. He even idolized President Donald Trump and said he aspires to be a wealthy, successful businessman in America.

But that was the least of Angela and Michael's problems, as they seemed to bicker more than they had fun during Angela's short stay in Nigeria.

The couple got through difficult times, however, and so Angela was determined to go ahead with the process of bringing Michael over to the United States.

Meanwhile, Michael said he was looking forward to working on and bettering himself so he could become the man Angela wanted him to be.

But 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' second season ended with Angela accusing Michael of wiping out her bank account and telling him to "go to hell." (Angela later said the incident was actually due to a bank ATM error).

After that, Angela broke up with Michael during the filming 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 2 Tell-All special after hearing he had called her his "elder."

Angela repeatedly insisted she was "done" with Michael at the time, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

In September 2018, Michael reportedly told a fan who commented on his Facebook page that he was "engaged" and expecting to move to the U.S. in 2019 under "God's grace" before changing his privacy settings to restrict public viewing of his posts.

Then, days after 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 2 Tell-All special aired on TLC in October 2018, Angela changed her relationship status to "Engaged" on Facebook.

A month later, Angela confirmed she and Michael were still an item during an interview with In Touch Weekly.

"I'm in love with him. I don't just love him. I can move on, but why? We've come this far," Angela told the magazine at the time.

"Me and Michael have been together before any of this and we're going to make it. It's just going to be hard. I miss him extremely and I want to be with him."

In April 2019, Michael took to Instagram and shared a photo of the couple from when they were filming the 90 Day Fiance spinoff.

"Forever and a day more," Michael wrote with a heart at the time.

During the new season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, Angela discussed how her relationship with Michael has evolved since their last appearance on the franchise.

"Michael and I have been engaged for about a year now. Truth of the matter is we have some issues still, but I love him and I miss him, so I filed for the K-1 visa. And when he gets here, we'll get married. I love him that much," Angela told the cameras.

Angela, however, planned to return to Nigeria one last time while waiting for Michael's visa to be approved.

Angela said Michael had to prove he'd do whatever it takes to make her happy, especially since she had asked him to stop social media and he continued anyway and posted photos "showboating" with other women.

Angela only spent two weeks with Michael their first time together, but she was still planning for their wedding day in the United States. Angela therefore checked out a venue called Cotton Patch, which featured a pond, gardens and fountains.

Angela wanted to have an American wedding followed by an African-style reception, complete with fireworks and televisions to show her guests her journey with Michael from the beginning.

Angela was quoted $45,000 for the venue and all of her special touches, which she thought was way too much and overwhelming.

Angela hoped she could make a decision "once and for all" whether Michael was the one for her because the last thing she wanted to do was blow a bunch of money on her wedding and then have things not work out between them.

Angela later told her daughter Skyla she loved Michael but wasn't sure she could trust him. Angela vented about Michael's behavior on social media but then revealed he wants a baby and she probably couldn't have one given her age.

Angela asked Skyla to give her an egg so she could have a baby with Michael, but Skyla was totally against the idea because the child would technically be hers.

Angela therefore asked Skyla if she would consider carrying her baby as a surrogate, but Skyla called that idea "crazy" as well and said her mom wasn't thinking things through.

However, Skyla told Angela she "might" carry the baby once she and Michael settle into their life together and really commit to one another.

So are Angela and Michael still together and engaged, or has the 90 Day Fiance couple split and broken up?

In June 2019, Michael posted several photos of the couple on his Instagram account, including a selfie of them, showing they were together at the time.

And in May 2019, Angela had not only confirmed the couple was still together and engaged, but also that they would be returning for Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Angela was in New York City for an appearance at the time, and she spilled the beans to a fan who approached her for a photo about how she and Michael were still planning to tie the knot.

"We are getting married! We're filming Before the 90 Days right now! He's coming here [to the United States]," Angela told the fan, according to In Touch.

When asked if Michael "learned how to act right" in recent months, Angela reportedly said all good things about him.

"Yes girl, just gotta feed him some chicken and behind closed doors, he ain't back talking," Angela reportedly told her fan.
