Donald Trump is slamming Seth Meyers, who is hosting Monday night's Emmy Awards, clearly due to unresolved past issues.

Meyers roasted The Apprentice star about his hair and desire to run for President while hosting the 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner, and Trump has apparently held a grudge ever since.

"That Seth Meyers is hosting the Emmy Awards is a total joke," Trump tweeted Monday. "He is very awkward with almost no talent. Marbles in his mouth!"

Trump isn't happy about the 40-year-old former Saturday Night Live star emceeing the awards show, but this isn't the first time he's taken shots at the comedian for mumbling.

Back in 2011 at the dinner, according to the New York Daily News, Meyers said, "Donald Trump has been saying that he will run for President as a Republican which is surprising, because I just assumed he was running as a joke."

Meyers later reportedly added, "If a comedian imagined a politician, they would imagine Donald Trump."

Trump, 68, had responded to the jokes, issuing a statement that referred to Meyers as a "third-rate talent," the Daily News reported.

Trump had also insisted, once again, Meyers had marbles in his mouth during his routine and reportedly "couldn't get the words out."
