Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams has revealed how he'd love to see more single The Bachelor and The Bachelorette leads from seasons past, including Peter Weber, look for love on Paradise, following suit with Becca Kufrin, who will be showing up soon on the summer spinoff's seventh season.

"I want to see leads come on the show, like, that's what I really want," Wells, 37, told Us Weekly on a recent episode of its "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast.

"Because, you know, it was kind of a thing that leads would never do. I'm talking about people who were the Bachelor or the Bachelorette. They would never do [it]."

Wells, a former Paradise cast member and The Bachelorette bachelor who now serves as the "master of ceremonies" on Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season, said Paradise's reputation has changed a little bit and so maybe former stars of the franchise will give it a chance.

"I think now that Paradise has this sort of, like, cool cachet that it maybe hasn't had years past, I'm hoping that happens," Wells said.

"I would love to see Peter come -- not because I want to see Peter -- because I want to see his mom come down there too and stir some stuff up."

Peter starred on The Bachelor's 24th season in 2020 and is currently single following his official February 2021 breakup with his show's fifth-place finisher, Kelley Flanagan.

Wells added, "I want to have a Heineken with Barbara, that will be the greatest freaking day ever."

As for the Season 7 cast members who stood out most to Wells, he shared how he really clicked with several of Katie Thurston's The Bachelorette bachelors.

"Love [Connor Brennan], he's the perfect combination of dorky and cool," Wells noted.

"And it's something that I can really relate to, you know? He's got this, like, cool musicality side, but he also has nothing but dad jokes. I loved sitting across the bar with him and hanging out."

Wells also said Tre Cooper is "one of the funniest guys ever."

"And [Aaron Clancy] and Connor were really fun to get to know. They're two of the biggest bros, like, these San Diego dudes that say weird surfer catchphrases that I'd never heard of, like, 'Super Nectar!' And, 'Look at the ocean, it's like butter on toast!'" Wells shared with Us.

"Katie had some really good guys on her season, and I think a lot of people are going to be really excited to get to know them a little bit better."

Bachelor in Paradise is expected to turn out a star of its own this season, according to Wells.

Wells previously revealed on former The Bachelor star Nick Viall's "The Viall Files" podcast, "I think that everyone should wait for Paradise to air before we anoint anyone the next Bachelor."

Although Bachelor Nation has been speculating The Bachelor star for Season 26 in 2022 is likely going to be Andrew Spencer, Michael Allio or Greg Grippo, Wells continued, "I think that there is one particular person that everyone is going to want to be the Bachelor."

"And whether or not they are even available to be the next Bachelor at the end of it remains to be seen," Wells concluded.

After watching the show's premiere earlier this month, Nick said on a subsequent episode of his podcast that he's "almost certain" Wells was referring to Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile because he thinks Joe is receiving a flattering Bachelor edit.

"I loved Joe this episode. I thought there's a real honesty and earnestness," Nick gushed, adding that Joe is a genuine and authentic guy who actually speaks what's on his mind and is "very comfortable with himself."

"He's probably one of the best people at owning his awkwardness and leaning into it and not pretending he's not being awkward," Nick said, "and that comes across very charming."

Bachelor in Paradise's next two episodes are set to air on Monday, August 30 and Tuesday August 31 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
