The 39-year-old original The Bachelorette star -- who wed Ryan Sutter, her final bachelor, in 2003 -- has revealed she recently underwent plastic surgery.

In addition to a breast augmentation and internal lift which took her from a small B-cup to a full C-cup, Sutter also received lepharoplasty which lifted her eyelids and removed bags from under her eyes.

"I've always been pretty confident and happy with my body," she told Radar Online, explaining she had become unhappy with the appearance of her breasts and eyes. "I wanted to feel proud of my body, and now I do."

Dr. Franklin Rose -- the Houston-based plastic surgeon who is the father of former The Bachelor bachelorette and current Bachelor Pad contestant Erica Rose -- performed both procedures on Sutter on the same day.

"I just thought, as long as I was going under, I might as well go for it," Sutter told Radar Online.

Sutter, who has a five-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl with Ryan, said breast-feeding her children had contributed to her appearance.

"After nursing both my kids for a year each, my boobs were deflated," she told Life & Style in a bikini photo shoot in which she showed off her new body. "And I had a droopy eye. It was something that I noticed in every picture I've ever taken."

"I realized that the surgery was something I had to do for myself, just for my own self-confidence and to feel good again about being in bathing suits and being intimate with my husband."

According to Sutter, Ryan was completely supportive of her decision.

"He wanted me to be happy, so he said, 'Whatever you need to do to make yourself happy, go for it,'" she told Life & Style.

"I wanted to feel pretty again -- and I do!"
