"Rumor has it that I will not be returning for 'Season 6' That rumor is true!" The Real Housewives of Orange County star wrote in a Friday posting on her Facebook page. "Further rumor has it we will be back somewhere else on our own show! Hmmmm! 'Watch what happens' Life is so unpredictable!"

Curtin's The Real Housewives departure was apparently not her decision.

"I am broken hearted! I was so let down the way this came about! We were the last to know! I guess Bravo has to do what they have to do! I thought we had a great relationship! I guess I was wrong!" she wrote in follow-up postings.  "Its funny how fast offers came to us from other places! Thats how we found out we were not returning! Funny how life can be!"

"We tried to be honest about our lives! I thought thats what reality tv is supposed to be! I would like our new show to be totally honest! No retakes or do overs. You will see it exactly the way it really happens! Someone thinks alot of people will tune in! That makes me feel better about things! Its important to keep a positive vibe in life no matter what is going on!"

Curtin's exit announcement came two days after Radar Online reported that Peggy Tanous, a friend of The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino, will be joining the Bravo reality series for its upcoming sixth season.

Curtin joined The Real Housewives of Orange County's cast during its fourth season, which premiered in November 2008.  The show's fifth season featured Curtin and her family being evicted from their home due non-payment of their rent and moving to a more affordable condo.

In December, a judge issued a bench warrant for Curtin and her husband Frank after the couple failed to appear for a Riverside, CA courtroom hearing to answer questions stemming from a $1.2 million judgement they were previously ordered to pay to a former business partner.

Bellino joined The Real Housewives of Orange County during its fifth season, which debuted last fall.  She replaced original Housewives star Jeana Keough, who will be returning to Bravo in the network's new upcoming Thintervention with Jackie Warner reality series.

Keough's departure left Gunvalson as the only remaining original The Real Housewives of Orange County star still with the show, which premiered in 2006.

A Bravo spokeswoman could not confirm Curtin's departure or Tanous' addition when contacted by The Orange County Register.
