The Splash contestant and Kendra on Top star was taken to the hospital on Sunday but released shortly afterwards with no serious injuries after getting into a car crash that left her "in shock" and "really sore," according to a source, Us Weekly reported.

"Thank you for all well wishes," Wilkinson tweeted Monday.

"Just really reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love really is."

The accident reportedly occurred in Los Angeles' Tarzana neighborhood and Wilkinson was spotted heading into Providence Tarzana Medical Center.

Another source told Us late yesterday, "She was taken in earlier. She was discharged already."

Wilkinson -- a former The Girls Next Door star and Playboy Playmate -- decided to quit Splash, ABC's new reality diving competition, during an early April broadcast due to her overwhelming fear of heights.

Following her ouster, Wilkinson said, "This will haunt me for the rest of my life."
