Greg Louganis has gotten engaged.

The medalled diving legend, who trained Splash's first-season contestants for the competition, will wed paralegal Johnny Chaillot this fall, People reported.

"I finally met my soul mate -- the more I fall in love with Johnny, the more I fall in love with myself. This is what the universe had in store for both of us," Louganis told the magazine.

Louganis, 53, is currently a mentor for the U.S. Olympic diving team and earned a total of five Olympic medals, five World Championship titles and 47 national titles in his career. Chaillot, 52, reportedly works for the firm Loeb & Loeb.

Splash, ABC's reality diving competition, concluded early last month with extreme skier Rory Bushfield being crowned champion.
